More "russian" bullshit? Its the internet. A toy. Its also describing just the same old computer/server vulnerability attacks, or user run/opened trogen virus crap, that every script kiddie was writing as a bored student programmer and has been doin so in every country, to every country for 30 years. So what? Nothing new here. Thats a page describing what all attacks and viruses from the whole world do.
My server that hosts this site is attacked almost continuously. From many countries. Everything from stuff that tries to inject ads, to adding a virus that uses users machines to mine crypto currencies, or denial of service attacks etc etc. Thats how the web works. The russian internet stuff is all bollox, just more of the same old crap dug up in a search, that every country does. Your PC or router is having its ports probed right now by who/god knows what. Your ISP is filtering most of the dodgy emails with attachments that may be harmful or bad links from you at the same time. Russian thing is no different. The internet is a free for all.
A properly updated and run system with users that are not stupid is perfectly safe. And if thats not the case, get it/them off the internet. Its stupid to put anything critical on the web OR any network that has internet access. Even then a dumb user can introduce the same crap from a disk or usb stick... The internet is not safe. Its not intended for mission critical stuff, kids, or people with no computer skills. If they want to use it, they can. But the results can be bad if they dont possess the skills. The same applies to the government/power stations etc.
