In the realm of badasses, Zahara Sedighi ranks pretty high. After suffering from polio as a child and losing the ability to walk, the woman from Mashhad, Iran, has had to face her share of hardships...Since taxis and public transit that can accommodate handicapped riders are vanishingly rare in Sedighi's hometown, she MacGyvered her very own wheelchair-friendly motorcycle...built with two motorcycles halves attached to a platform..

Pretty amazing in iran where like almost all muslim countries women are abused, denied any normal rights, ""honour"" killed, forced to marry, suffer rape at early ages, and genital mutilation and sometimes worse. Certainly they are not allowed to drive. Their backward bullying and abuse of women by the muslim ideology doesent allow it. It doesent even allow them to be in public without face and everything else covered. Because the men may get exited and rape her. And thats her fault too - not the men they cant help it. If she gets too well known (like this blog article), she will quite likely "dissapear" without trace. Or go to jail for a indefinite period on imaginary invented charges or severely beaten or tortured. So if anything its not the vehicle that makes her stand out, but her bravery standing up against the muslim totalitarian and barbaric system.

I might add that its got 4 wheels and so is a car now. And likely she would have just converted a van or something if she was allowed to actually drive. This maybe keeps her just far enough below the radar. Some vans dont even need anything but seat removal and a fold down ramp.

Have a read. This is a common theme across muslim countries. And this is the politically correct toned down version. I can show you some graphic examples if you prefer. https://www.hrw.org/news/2015/10/28/womens-rights-iran

Burqa's are great in a resturant.
