For those of you that already thought I was a bit mad... :P

In 2002 computers ran hot. And slow. So to get any performance they had to be water cooled. Well there was no "water cooled computers" back then. At least not ready to go solutions.

So I did things a little differently! Scroll down...

Only a bit?
And there was me innocently thinking that you were normal enough to want spend all your time with charming young ladies, or down the pub, and that powerchairs were only the means to get there!

Best,

Well I just built an overclocked (4.4ghz) i7 quad core (8 threads) 12gb superfast 2000mhz ram, 8x 1gb storage hard drives, two solid state raid boot drives, a pair of nvidia SLI cartds etc... And a 30 inch dell 2560 x 1600 monitor!

So possibly!

Its quite fast... Windows 7 64bit, and its rock solid 24/7 and hammered to death.

Very nice system :) I think we'd get along well heh. I run a tech site (maybe you've heard of it, OCIA.net) and do reviews for another site so I'm up to my neck in hardware all the time.

I just put together a new main work system a few days ago, although not as nice as your heh. i5-2500K, ASUS H67 board, 8GB 2133 MHZ RAM, 240GB Vertex 3 SSD, 2TB Storage Drive, SilverStone 750w PSU, SilverStone FT03 chassis. Still need to add an additional low end video card so I can run triple monitors.

I would love another one of these dell 32 inch monitors. Colours are amazing, and I am into photography. Extra wide gamut. http://accessories.us.dell.com/sna/prod ... u=224-9949

But... The price is rather steep!

Two may be overkill, its huge!

Just looked at your site! Thats what I do... Got most of mine from http://www.overclockers.co.uk

M/B http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showprodu ... =5&subcat=

12GB OF Dominator GT 2000mhz Which runs at 1920mhz (since all slots are full) with tight timing reliably.
i7 950 at 4.4ghz (and water cooled 4.2 in summer!)

Lian-Li alloy case, black, screwlkess, with sad window!

More hard disks than required, including some on an add in card...

ETC...

Its not cheap but it pays for itself.
