Runs anything YOU CHOOSE to run, or install, absolutely fine!

Its just got all the shit stripped out by default! It is a stable, operating system ONLY much like windows 7 but with 10s inprovments and speed. viewtopic.php?f=5&t=8596#p132478

Yes, I can see the advantages. That's why I'm attracted to it but I'm currently running a very lean Win 7 Pro new install on my laptop that I've just upgraded to SSD and maxed the ram so I'm not getting any of the MS crap now. I wonder whether I will actually notice any real difference by going to 10 LTSC. It's only used for browsing, mail etc.

I am now thinking about changing my Ubuntu desktop back to Windows after reading Steve's and your Windows posts. You have almost convinced me :clap .

Do it.

You want to use the tool to download Win64 ENT 2019 LTSC, Office Pro 2019, and the KMS38 file...

Or...

Wait a min...
Download the two ISOs with this tool, and the KMS38 is also here... And the normal 180 day activator, and the Volume Licence converter etc if you need it...

When it comes to downloading office, you can get the 2019 version in 2 flavours. Pro. And Pro plus. The ONLY difference is that Pro Plus includes business version of skype. So you get to choose to have it, or not...

And the same 38 year activation works.

If you download the MS Project 2019, or/and MS Visio 2019, those need to be converted to VLK versions and use the 180 day activation. Without installing the KMS scheduler or you get high CPU idle... Thats the other crack file.

Sounds more complicated than it is.

After BIOS, I get 6 second boot on my laptop. And under 4 secs on my PC... Both with fast very PCIe NVMe 512GB drives. And a crap load of software installed. And about 45GB of my docs, and a 40GB software folder. All hard drive boot activity ends 2 secs after desktop.

From anywhere.
Click the .bat file and you see instructions on screen. Its sort of self explanitory. Install office first. Then the KMS38 crack.

ok i just downloaed the Win ISO from the link - i dont have any Office 2019 -

the other files - dont see a .bat file anywhere - so not sure how it works - yes i am one of the many windows dummy around here -

whats easy for me is a one click program that does the rest on its own - with an interface so i can see whats going on etc, -

i would first have to install the windows ISO - then office 2019 - i dont have that one -

then work on the crack -

downloading 2019 office pro now -

still dont see how the cracks works

clicking on KMS file- opens a window and gives me the options to pick one - there are 8 ways to do it

which would be the correct or best easiest way -

i was thinking number 3 is the one -

install win. - install office - then run this and click number 3 ?

would this work ?

Download it from the link where you couldnt see windows...

Then take the ISO files and use any ISO program or windows, to open it. MOVE THE FILES TO A FOLDER, on another drive, or a DVD or memory stick, and install. The crack files were in that zip I already posted.

All of this stuff presumes some windows and PC driving skills or you will need an "expert"... czy

Definition of computer expert? Someone that knows a bit more than you do...

i want to first make a fresh image before i wipe it out and do this - then i would have to start over installing all my programs i have now - good thing its still winter time - good time to do this

Yep!

Then you will need firefox, and a Ublock Origin ad blocker. And all your usual programs. And about 2 weeks getting it how you like it. Like the black colour... And 100s of options. Drivers, etc.

Well, John, you've done it! Linux is no more on my desktop. :ugeek: From what I've seen so far I don't think I'm going to regret it although there's a bit of catching up for me to do. I used to work a lot with Windows, particularly Access databases but since retiring 15 years ago and switching to Linux, there's so much I've forgotten. It's good to revisit. Keeps the grey matter in good nick. Thanks for your help.

Now 2 weeks kicking everything into shape!

All that microsoft store app junk, all the crap browser, and that cortana garbage, all the links and push towards a microsoft account, the cloud, and everything else is gone. And almost all the features you hated are gone. Whats left can be uninstalled, and if you go through security options most everything else can be switched off too. Uninstall everything you dont want.

Check updates, you will get a few. But only security ones. And only many months after they are tested on the rst of the world. So safe to do. Then do a disk cleanup, and go through scheduler turning off anything you dont want.

And you now have the same super stable clean version of windows that banks, air traffic control etc use. I was using the previous version, it was much the same on my desktop. No issues ever. You may note that the default for most things is already off. Like autoplay for files etc. But its worth half a day going through everything regardless.

Really? Takes me 2 weeks to install everything and fine tune all menus, shortcuts, services, scheduler, defaults, updates, file extention defaults, 1000 other things till its perfect. THEN I make a copy, once sure, with all junk folders and files gone, latest drivers, tested to death, first. Then I do a Macrium reflect backup, in 4gb sections to fit the FAT32 file system on my sergei strelec boot USB.

I then install that backup to my OTHER desktop PC. By using "install to different hardware" option in Macrium... So that setup work and all the emails, saved passwords, and all your work is cloned to the other PC. It atomatically finds new drivers, and if not I use that 17GB of auto install drivers also on the strelec USB stick. And away we go!

Once you have a new install for the other PC then those drivers are already installed but unused. So a backup of one computer works fine on either. So you only need a backup of one.

I actually dont consider mild OCD a disorder. I employ carers that are the same way on purpose. One of mine is currently going through my garage while I am changing an ileostomy on my bed, Because he wants all the tools, clean, tidy, put away, carpet vacuumed etc. Is as bad as me if you call organised "bad"...

Also puts all my washed and polished heavy pint glasses in the freezer! So it keeps the drinks cold. And does all this without being told or asked. Also permanantly wiping hand prints of light switches, oven, fridge and cupboard doors and looking annoyed that people leave marks... Was giving a lecture to my ex the other day about pressing light switches with one finger and not touching the walls

You can just switch it off in settings, and disable a couple of services. This is what I mean by setting it up and fine tuning for weeks...

You can disable all that and data logging etc in computer management too. Group policy settings etc.

Actually theres very little info sent and what is doesent ID you. I looked. Its just details about errors or boot times, and other performance data. Unlike the mountain of personal info that the other versions collect about you and your likes and preferences. The reason microsoft dont want us using this version is because all that data that it doesent collect or send, and the missing microsoft store, and the metro aps, are the thing that makes microsoft money. So obviusly they want us to have it. This version only exists as a stable version with all that crap removed because banks, air trafic controllers, etc do not want it! Nor do I.
