Take some thin bell wire. Use about 30 meters...

Compare it to that wire in the picture BLIND FOLDED. I KNOW that you cannot tell the difference. I have done a similar test years ago. Not so extreme, but you cannot tell any difference.

Err 'valve' amps? Long after the people that know best about electronics moved away from them to faster more accurate, lower noise, flatter response lower impedance and more stable over time and much more efficient transistors...

Its like fitting lead because the user 'feels' that they are better instead of the lithium battery. Or going back to steam for your car. Or leeches in place of doctors when you are sick. :eh:

i am not going to get into that - its your choice - Tubes are excellent amps - and my ears are the judge - dosnt mean SS amps are not good - we been thru this so not going to argue this - its your choice what you like or dont like - your not a music kind of guy - who listens and enjoys it the way some of us are -

sound great to me - and thats all that matters - :joint

i had to post that pic - too funny - thats all - you like what ever you like - i dont care what paper specs say - you can find an amp with perfect specs and they all claim to be - even $50 100000 watt amps - all bullshit distortion - more to it then just paper specs -

all i am saying is that the 25 watt - 40 watt Tube amp- sounds excellent to me - now thats something you can hear when comparing - not wires like in the picture -

Its debatable that they do, and only for about 2 things. Personally I would go with what the science says. And the doctor! How many valves are in that MRI scanner? Why not? Because they are not as good scientifically (electrically).

The "I can hear the difference mob" (yes you can they are worse) that buy all that fancy hi-fi cables, valve amps, ferrite blocks, etc are nutters. They just dont know it.

you keep adding in that we all buy that fancy cable and buy into the snake oil thing - and yes i do it hear its nicer to my ears - its different

cant use the word nicer or better - to each there own - its not about being perfect text book specs - its a choice you can make if you like it or if you dont -

i just posted the pic for fun - its funny - not going into the debate - its clear - your not interesting or involved in music that way -

and thats fine - not everyone is - and you can be satisfied with one thing - and i may not be - its a hobby also - that i enjoy experiencing while i am still around and able to - science has nothing to do with it - one item operates one way - and another a different way -

some may like the way one sounds over another regardless of what the specs say - you do test drive car first before you buy one ? or a bike or anything else - there all the same right - they should be - specs say so - but they not - and you know that - one can be build nicer - better quality - fit and finish - another can be different build cheaper - but have great specs - dosnt mean it will function to your liking just because the specs say it should -

no need to go back and forth on this - just was a funny pic - actually looks like a real snake - cheers

The reviews of this cable are comical.

"After I bought this cable, I lost 30 pounds! This incredible cable gave me more length and girth, and I'm more attractive to women!"
