Nandol +

Postby CPguy » 23 Jul 2019, 11:30

I have just been informed by Nandols machanic that Nandol passed away a while ago. I shall miss him, his smile and his photos with the incredibly hot women.

I hate sad news.

@ burgerman: Nandol recommended his mechanic to me when I was looking for help to build a BM2 clone a few years back. His mechanic built the clone for me. Still driving with it now as Tom from "The Powerchair Company" is taking more than 2 years to deliver but that is a different story...

Indeed sad. It's been 3y almost to the month since he last posted I believe (June 2016). Do we know anymore? Let's hope it was while he was enjoying himself on some last great adventure!

I often wonder about how to inform online friends about my passing on when that eventually occurs...

Well we generally know when regular posters stop posting for a few years. There was some worry that you had become one of those too at one point!

I dont think he just died. I think we just found out for sure that he had. He was last heard of returning from brazil with breathing problems/fluid. And went into hospital in portugal. Pneumonia or similar. He posted here from hospital.

Shame it happened to him. He was very adventurous. He was the one that did all the thailand, south america, and took his carers with him. Flew wih lithium, was transported in commercial vans and just risked everything.

Lithium powered (modified 50Ah BMS brick) Blacksmith built BM2 with R-Net 120 and with a car seat. Fat tyres, and rearward CG mean non of the tyres sink on soft wet sand. This was in south america somewhere.
