Very good. If that were mine, I would fill all cracks with sawdust and glue, sand it all down, (ELECTRIC SANDER) and varnish it about 5 coats of satin varnish finish with all new screws etc. And refit the hinges after cleaning them up with brown sauce and then a wire brush... OCD rules.
Also...
Put 2 old wheelchair batts inside, and a 24v cheap maintainance charger. 2 to 5A. Ebay under 20 quid.
And a 1000w 24V inverter.

The 2 plug sockets will give you 1000w output at 240V depending on which inverter you buy, even if theres a power cut. And will always run your phones. computers etc 24/7. Its just that you will always have a backup power supply. It will power lights, (add a table lamp!) etc or your lift chair.
