How are your future fair and free democratic elections going? :clap

Sorry. Cant resist. You need to overthrow putin to get actual democracy. He doesent like competition! He just changed the law again to keep him in power longer. So he doesent have to leave in 2024.

From rearrangement of places of numbers, the amount does not change.
Mathematics....
To understand Russians and Russia, one must live in Russia. He is a normal president, no better and no worse than any of your presidents.

But we get to choose ours. We have FREE democratic elections.
And no ours are NOT all thes same, but VASTLY different.

There are vast differences between the one we just voted in, (OUT of the damned socialist EU thats headed for centralised socialist control oblivion), and is basically for capitalist economics, and free market).

Or the main opposition party was a far left socialist marxist idiot that would bankrupt the economy, remain in the EU and make us all suffer and reduce freedom of choice. destroy economy, etc. We would end up like venuzuala. And a bunch of other candidates, green party, liberals etc that are all bonkers.

In order for people to choose, they must understand this. Who can live without a tablet now? Many can distinguish a screw from a bolt?
All this is nonsense, any country ruled by corporations. Such times ...

In the west, enough people know about politics, and enough TV or internet time is allowed for every party to explain its policies so that we can CHOOSE. Its on every news program every day, 365 days a year. We all know which parties stand for what values.

In your country, anyone looking like a threat is how shall we say... "discouraged" from running in the elections. You dont get the candidates, because its controlled by putin. You then dont get the information, and the policies. And you are given much propaganda. And puting makes sure he wins. So yes, in your case, you are just along for the ride. No choice! Thats why the tiny UK has a higher GDP than your huge country with 3x the number of people. We voted to keep out any socialist candidates almost all of the time. The few times they did get elected, they increased unemployment, increased national debt, increased inflation, and then were voted OUT.

What we vote for matters. It makes a HUGE difference to how we live. Our freedoms. Our lifestyles. Its can be poverty, high unemployment, or the opposite.

With a country as huge as yours, you COULD be as rich as the US with the average worker owning a nice big home, a new car (with lots of choice of good cars rather than millions of Ladas) and cheap plentiful food. You are heading very slowly in the right direction. But putin still thinks like the old communists. You have the illusions of free elections... As long as you vote for him!

You can't grasp Russia with your mind;
All earthly measurements deceive.
Her stamp is rare and undefined -
In Russia you must just believe.

"Fyodor Tyutchev" 1803 – 1873 was a Russian poet and statesman.

Those are touching words from 150yrs ago. Still amazes me that we as people are generally not smart enough to govern ourselves. To insist on integrity, efficiency, care and compassion. Instead we "elect" greedy self-centered ego maniacs.

Here we elect a leade, and a PARTY. The leader can make no decisions or make no policies unless it is also agreed in parliment.

Right now, after the last election, we have 650 members, that all get to vote on the leaders new proposed rule or action. We voted each into power based on their parties Manifesto. (what they wish and will do, in detail once in power, IF THEY CAN). This lasts several years and then if they didnt behave, we all vote for different candidates...

We do not have a dictator, as you seem to do. All our parlimentary members have seats in parliment and vote based on their own opinion. They are not forced to vote the same way as the prime minister.

This is the 650 breakdown we have now:

The blue is capitalist, the red is socialist idiots, the rest are irrelivant!

John, it's hard for you to understand the Russians. It is a huge and multinational country with a very complex character. It is not a matter of socialism or capitalism, it is a matter of people.

Putin has brought back the authoritarian rule of the old Soviet Union, just w/o the communism. He has absolute power. Had enemies jailed, poisoned, or "disappeared." He controls the media, feeding Russians only the propaganda he wants. And sometimes likes to have his picture taken with no shirt on in the forest.

Have you ever been in Russia? I am sure that no, how can you say that if you can hardly find Russia on the globe.
What a propaganda! For example, CNN, BBC we have on TV around the clock, there are no bans, no locks, and so on.
Do you know where Chernobyl is? Do you know when it was?

I am often in the states (US), my daughter has citizenship of Russia and the USA. I can compare two countries, two peoples, but you cannot.
Russian and American are very similar, but Russian and European are not! I personally am not very comfortable living in Europe, but this is only my personal opinion.

I've had many nurses in my day, but I would take an old school

This might need more research.

Had some success getting the programmer setup today. It asked me to select a personality. Norwegien looks kinda kinky.

I like Russia and I like Russians too and I would personally like to thank them for both Donald Trump and Brexit because without Russia neither would have been possible [ allegedly]

To celebrate Brexit Day here's a character Russians and the British have both enjoyed as a shared adversary.

Not yet. He is doing a great job in the US.

By great I mean he is driving all the lefty, liberal media, and libtard party and all the progressives, the antifa, greens etc wild. He is destroying their minds just by being trump! They are so full of hatred and desperation that its eating them up and they are trying everything to get rid of him and looking rediculous in the process.. And thats great!
