These OS's have nearly double or more vulnerabilities than Windows 10, yet people claim Mac OS and Linux are more secure. https://www.cvedetails.com/top-50-products.php Windows is safer to use these days.

Back in the dark ages, people thought that but it was mostly that hackers were more focused on MicroSoft because it was just bigger. I don't think it's true anymore & hasn't been for a long time.

I agree, Windows pre-XP SP2 was easy for hackers, but Windows 7+ is much more secure. Mac OS and Linux were never targeted back in the late 1990's/early 2000's because they were niche. People are still in that mindset that Windows is easy to compromise, which it isn't easily unless you go to dodgy websites that install malware/viruses etc... and disable all of Windows security features. In my 30 years of using Windows since 3.0, I've never had a virus except trying them out on purpose to see what happens on an offline PC.
