Hoist battery

I have an electric hoist I bought it second hand it’s about 10 yea rs old
I am on holiday and the hoist battery is connected, the battery is
i
battery 14,4v 1.9ah NiCd
Can I use this one from eBay it is the same manufacturer but slightly different number spec

Probably as long as it looks the same physically. They are just ni-cad or metal hydride cells. The capacity increased over the years. So its slightly bigger Ah.

Although the price for 12 cells is absolutely crazy...


You could also replace the cells in your existing pack in around 30 mins with a soldering iron with a set of eneloops for say around 30 pounds?
Or get a hobby shop or someone capable to do it. Its simple enough.
