There is also a 646 on Craigslist for 300.00 but needs batteries and a charger.

Got the invoice from the Medical supplier for my new Quickie 636. Total was 17K dollars of which was paid for by Medicaid.

The thing has the worst steering response I could imagine ( rep said he could bring his programming box next week), and I left a 4ft skid mark letting off the joystick going around a corner downhill, so deceleration needs adjusting too. It is apparently nose heavy as it dives forward every time you let off the throttle. I will likely remove the entire seat assembly and replace it with an automotive bucket seat. The backrest feels like a very slight concave piece of plywood as my back only hits about 1/4 of it. The push bars are up at shoulder height, which is ridiculous looking and non-functional. The 22" seat depth comes too close to the back of my knees for me, and the Jay Fushion is not comfortable either
Worst part is those damned swing away leg rests which stick out like a wedding night dick, hitting every doorway and piece of wood they can find. So basically I only like it from the frame and below, well except for the shitty looking gray tires and the Group 22 batteries. It really is a shame that they get to charge $17K for this.

Trust me when I tell you he will have a dealer version and no clue what he is doing.

Is that it in the photo above? Why is the armrests and footplate about a foot ahead of everything else? Not sure what I am looking at but thats not usable.

Doesn't look too bad. Caster forks very long, and lots of trail so swing in large arks preventing centre plate and hitting stuff. Swing away footrests will smash into everything as you know. Programming will help. What system? Its why I always use a centre plate. No "corners".

Caster fork will only allow 2 1/2" wide tires. They wanted another $250.00 for the wider forks and bigger tires. Invoice said that I have a Rehab-ElectConn-SM Electronics Connection which was $1,625.00

The Power Tilt was a $ 6,187.50 addition

The Jay Fusion Cushion was $495.00. I wish I could get that much out of it on EBay.

Interesting. The chairs design is already set up for tilt. It just requires a cheap 100 dollar actuator, and a module costing about 140. Plug and play. And a connecting cable, 2 bolts, and a couple of zip ties!

They must have put the 6 there in error. :?

That price is ALMOST what I paid for the full chair!
