The original poster is talking about BRAD SODENS Tankchair. Not your tankchair.

Is there some way to translate? Because this makes no sense.
Unless you mean, you have something better than the Tankchair to present in the Autumn.

Because the tankchair really does have problems.

i agree that many of vitolds posts dont make much sense. but im more concerned about finding a mode of transportation that allows me to get off the sidewalk. from what ive gathered, the issue with trackchairs is they dont make sharp turns without overheating the controller? i can deal with that, if it allows me more freedom. im more concerned about length of battery time. if there isnt a better controller, are there modifications i can do? what about added battery power?

Dont tempt him.

He is saying that smaller tracks. with less "grip" are easier to turn. And he is correct. But a mobility controller is still inadequate for this job. But he is using 48V and shorter gearing? So as to improve torque, but the last time he shared information it was a low power roboteq one. So we still dont really know wht he is now doing... And he doesent do proper specs because he doesent understand them.

You can, but it will need to be lithium, and a bigger pack than the one tankchair offers. And ideally it will need a proper charging system as I use rather than a BMS... See the thread about lithium pinned at the top of the forum.

I think this one is the winner! Might be a bit difficult doing grocery shopping. Some supermarkets around here have scooters if someone needs one, big slow arse vehicles, sad to see people trying to use them. Very big fat woman trying to turn one, getting pissed off, puts both feet on the floor on either side of the scooter, half stands up, lifts the front up, turns and drops it back down on to floor, and makes the turn!

Yep. Internal combustion beats batteries with skid steer or outdoor vehicles. But those tracks wont last long...

Let's see it on grass then! Or climbing a hill. Flat surfaces hardly take any power.
