When you live in a country where it rains every day green is not a problem! Everywhere is green.

But the rain is then a problem...

Snaker,

Except for the lack of cars, that looks very similar to the roads near my home south of Siena, Italy. It would not be save to drive a WC along a road like that here amidst the drivers who think they belong in Formula 1. The only other difference is that we have had a month of temps in the mid 30's with no significant rain, so here it is less green. Indeed, the drought throughout Italy has reached a severe level (except where thunderstorms arrived in the last couple days and caused flash flooding as the ground is too hard-baked to absorb well). This is when the wine grapes should be plumping up, so I suspect that this Fall's vendemia is going to be disappointing. Excellent quality because of high sugar concentration, but much reduced quantity.

Yes, italy is very green in parts. I did italy on 2 wheels years ago. With some drivers that were as mad as I was! I quite liked it. Driving rules and speed limits were advisory. As were traffic lights. 25 years ago on a nitrous injected Suzuki 1100.

The scene in the video is a mountain and also a natural border between Viet-Laos. This mountain blocks the humid wind flows from the sea, all humidity stays on Laos side. So on the same time, it might be pouring down on Laos side but dry hot 40oC on Vietnam side. Plant in tropical jungles adapts well with the weather, it can be green even in the dry season.

We have something similar in the UK's Lake District. Its all mountains. As you arrive, they allocate you a personal rain cloud. It follows you closely wherever you go at about 500 feet. And it never stops. :(

Hi all
Another little video taken in Beckenham Place Park. The Clock house was a major part of the park until it got burnt down.
http://www.sydenhamsociety.com/2011/07/ ... d-by-fire/.
Was going past the other day and noticed that the gates were open and popped in for a quick look around.

As for the quality of some videos that's me being new to DaVinci Resolve and Luts with the added complication of too many Stellas :?

Hi All
A video from Beckenham place park to Bromley hill using a gopro hero 5 set to 4K attached to a Feiyu tech G5 gimbal with an extension pole.
Was able to keep the camera 2 to 3 inches above the floor for some interesting views.

I located the microphone points on the camera and put a double layer of cellotape over them.
New video bit like last one, but of flower gardens with added music.

good idea - didnt think of that - i may have to get another camera - one for each chair - it only makes the sounds on one chair - the other you get the motor sounds - but not as bad - i have to give that a try - thanks

U tube vids...

I added a button! Look at the tabs above. Push button.

You get this:
Code: Select all

Look at U tube URL in the address bar. At the end theres a short string of numbers. After the = sign.

Code: Select all
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i9m4H9F4-ng
The part you need is the i9m4H9F4-ng

I turned the link to a vid for you.

download/file.php?id=6773&mode=view
See above!

How is it stabilized?
Built into cam? A mount? Via software afterwards?

What / how is it mounted?

Hi all,

In answer to some of your questions about camera positions and such, I have made a video to demonstrate.

https://www.youtube.com/edit?o=U&video_id=oz_v6pcWpI0

My Son in law thought it was funny to make another version with a different start and ending to wind the Wife up.

This place is like another version of the Stonehenge in UK. Do you recognize where it is?

It was humour! :D

Was visualizing many people sat on them all, with a toilet roll. And a huge line waiting.
