Someone should turn up at night with a drill and fit a toilet seat on every one, and stand a toilet roll next to it.

That guy must have a butt of elephant to use those 'toilets'.

youtu.be/gKtOYCNjpIA

The problem here is not "wheel locks on", "wheel locks off" (presuming they limit caster turning ability?) but one on CG. Your chair is far to nose heavy. It would benefit from moving the seat back by an inch to 2 inches. Since you are the heaviest part of the chair thats all it takes. As long as you accept that the thing wiull tip back more easily too.

Hi All
Cable car ride across the Thames round trip, looks a lot higher than it does on camera. £8.40 not to bad for London.

New to the forum, as a member. I found this thread by happy accident yesterday :D . I've been doing videos from my chair (Torque 3) for a while now and I'll share some with you all. I live in Queens, NY. This one is from a few weeks ago, at one of the parks along the East River looking towards Manhattan.

Thanks for the tour, love the river side view around 1:14. Is your camera mounted on a gimbal?

I think its just a cheap go-pro style chinese clone like mine here:
Download file to desktop first! http://www.wheelchairdriver.com/gopro/bot2.mp4

I leave this out at night. Then can patrol my property while laid on bed. 10.8Ah lithium Battery powers bot and camera for days. It sends its picture back to my laptop or FPV goggles as I drive via 5.8ghz radio. I see what it does. Good for checking out the whole area at night.

It does image stabilization by moving the sensor so that no loss of clarity or edges. No gimble needed.

*******
Also, NO stabilisation, my street from 150 feet.
Low quality.
http://www.wheelchairdriver.com/gopro/s ... uality.mp4

High quality, download before playing as 1080p and 60fps.

Hi chazzry

Thanks for your comments, yes I was using a Fieyu tech g5 gimbal attached to a telescopic extension pole. This was strapped to the side of the chair to give me the hieght above any walls and railings.
BM wouldn't call £250.00 a cheap clone :D

My entire camera cost 70 pounds with built in stabilisation! (moving sensor). Does a good job. SJCAM 5000X Elite.

Watch horizon - this thing bounces about like a football! http://www.wheelchairdriver.com/gopro/bot2.mp4

I see the stabilization in cheap Chinese cameras is a lot better then the expensive gopro. They do not really need a gimbal.

Correct, so very compact too.

https://www.amazon.co.uk/SJCAM-SJ5000X- ... 007BJKVHSV

Cheaper from china. Be careful as early ones have bad firmware and repeat frames at 60fps. And beware clones...

For people who love to take videos from wheelchair, it would be great to take a picture of video-mount equipment setup.

Here are my 2 setups, action cam and camcorder. Camcorder is mounted on an Andoer Q08 Pro Video Tripod Monopod Ball Head. The aluminum tubes are from wheelchair table parts.
