89km is 52 miles. And you used just over half the battery.

And these are real world measured figures. (not ISO test dreamland ones).

Thats good!

6h 20m download/file.php?id=7309&mode=view
And 32 mins not moving.

The average speed is always accurate. Even over say 30 yards. As long as its got a few sats locked. But short term short distances can read high or low. Thats why you see silly max speeds.

Yes, it was 6 running hours. I started at 7:30 and got home at about 14:00.

Time in VN is different from in EU/US. We usually wake up at 5AM, working time starts at 7-7:30. Some farmers even have to start working at 4AM to bring their products to local markets. At 7AM, streets are already crowed. In bigger cities, working time starts later, about 8AM. In opposite, 10PM means very late here. If a young girl gets home later than 10PM, she would be accused as a 'bad girl'

I'm interested in your chair rather . It seems ultra efficient and fast . You said it is a CHINESE brand .

Would you let us share your super good pick ? Post photos of it here .

Main reason, hes under 50kg. And no fancy heavy seating...

Remember it takes double the energy to push twice the mass the same distance.

His chair is now lighter. Has no weight doubling seating. And he is under 50kg. :cussing

I bought this chair here, my model is EPW68. Now they released faster models EPW65/EPW65S. Their specs state 13kph just to meet EU/US 'definition' for powerchairs. Its real speed is 14.5kph. And by increasing motor voltage to max 25V, it could reach 18kph => a decent speed. One day if I save enough money, I will pick EPW65. Its price is reasonable, as I remember it is only $1.500. Its downside is 2-pole motors and as other Chinese products it needs some customizing/modifying to drive ... safely.

http://enjoycare.com/En/ProductList.asp?SortID=1

I know myself 'mad' in driving. Soon or late I will drain this 150Ah pack. I am dreaming to your 200Ah pack. Did you ever think to drain it for a single trip? If so, I wonder how do you look after the trip

About the questions how does heavier weight impact on range/speed? I see it does not much impact to my chair. This 150Ah pack is 20kg heavier than my old pack, the energy consuming and speed are still the same. But tire/caster tread style and pressure do impact clearly.

Easy. Double the weight = double the Ah consumed per mile overall. Almost exactly.

The 55km long HongKong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge is going to open early next year . Longest bridge in the world .

According to tradition , a WalkForMillions charity fund raising ceremony will be held to signify the completion of large project .

I'm looking forward to this life time opportunity . A round trip of 110km that might require my 2 add-on , making up 314Ah ready for that trip, because I need to carry my wife with me .

Sadly , I think I could hardly hit an average speed @13kph .

Adding your wife will reduce range proportionally too.

But remember that a car, or taxi, idling, will allow you to put back some power fairly rapidly. But you really want a 24V vehicle, like RV, bus, truck, or something to charge at full power.

I'm thinking about convert to lithium on my F55. I don't know battery tray dimensions of F55. How many cells will fit in and how much power will have?

What is 18650 cell? Can I use these cells?

Where to start. Your chair can take 2x grp24 batteries.

There are many ways to fit lithium calls...

thats great - big difference - - how did you do it - just spray over the pin and leave it alone ? both ends - let it dry and thats it ? i will get a can to have on hand - i could use that for other things also

do you cover your Dsub with those rubber covers you got ? dosnt hurt to spray every 6 months or say even if not having issues ?

Yep, gave both ends a good spray, let them dry, and connected.

I usually put the the cover on, but sometimes forget. I guess some dirt/dust must have got in there. Nothing looked corroded, but who knows? I'll take the results.

I use that DeOxit regularly, it keeps all contact points wetted. On PC slots and connectors, chairs, vans, all my RC helis, quadcopters, planes, rc plugs etc. etc. It helps! Also any rotating or sliding pots. Get in from the reverse side theres always gaps.

It was certainly helpful in the situation I had! I imagine I'll find other uses too.

Hi. Sourced a donor F55 and been finding folk who can weld, paint and whatever

So. as I am about to go and buy lithium batteries, therefore my question is

what is the latest advice on battery spec

where to get them (plus battery holder/charger) from

It is early California time so haven't contacted batteryspace as yet

but would a UK supplier be simpler (re hazardous transport)

as a non techie any and every suggestion is welcomed

batteryspace

Run away. The first thing they will advise, is a BMS! And a dumb charger. Which might work, short term, if you are lucky...

Read the first few posts in this thread carefully. viewtopic.php?f=2&t=1813

Then speed read the rest.

Right . 40152 cells acquired same time last year .

We didn't screen them before assembly , so it's not regular as we grouped them at will .

Here is the last hour of discharge .
