Last few can be powered by a tiny rechargable 9v battery. And a single button. And a thin long cable. You are overthinking it. Fit to legbag, or under the footplate with velcro... If you want to power from a wheelchair, plug it into the charge port to empty, with an added resistor to drop the volts to 12.

Yes! Ideal. Only fly in the ointment is 52 dollars shipping and 40 dollars to buy. Then get 50 dollars customs duty/fees etc in the UK from the USA. :argument

If it could be shipped as medical equipment and the idiots at customs read it then you can be exempt from that.

Yes, at that rate you might as well buy one out of the Cole-Parmer UK catalog.

What voltage is that? How do you power it? Of the wheelchair battery, or stand-alone battery?

Any advice appreciated, Tremulous Tetra. :-)

Power is from chair battery
It's 24v. I have installed 12V to 24V Step-up Power Converter. Mini taster near joystick for easy press. :ugeek:

You mean you are running this from a single battery. And using an inverter to get 24V? Thats crazy. And it will kill your batteries fast too. :cussing

I bought some valves on taobao as in the pic underneath. Their name in English is "DC24V normally closed drain valve". I tested them with a 24V power source and I see they work. If connecting the valve to the power source, I hear a small sound and it opens. The problem is that its hole (gap?) when opening is too small. The water can only drip a little through the valve. It might take a day to empty just 500ml. Is there anything in the valve that I can modify or adjust to increase the water flow?

@tutatu: How long time does your valve take to empty a 500ml bag.

Theres a small hole that can be drilled out a little, with care.

Or fit this instead! diaphram pump. It wont leak under gravity. You could fire urine about 3 metres... https://www.mudah.my/Electric+Fuel+Pump ... 333082.htm

http://www.nexusmodels.co.uk/kavan-elec ... -0190.html This is a gear pump. It will leak at the bottom. THIS will allow you to run the pump at the top where you sit. Just add tube. And fit under the seat or something. And fire it out of the top via a tube to wherever you want like a toilet, or your enemy...

This "diaphram pump" looks cool. Does it have a 24V one?

If you search you will likely find one. But it would likely be ok on 24v anyway. Fire further! :ak47

probably smaller/better.

Its hard to know which are diaphram types.

Better... https://www.banggood.com/Diaphragm-Pump ... rehouse=CN

Oriffice on my valve are 1/4" or 6mm I think. I have 1.5l bag and time to take to empty it is about 2 minutes. Now I have mounted on right armrest mini taster, but it works only when I'm hold it, I hate to wait and hold pressed button for minutes - it takes for ages.

These days I will mount bluetooth relay switch, so when I'm in the hurry I can easily press in app button and continue driving

Can 12V pumps work with a 24V power source? Because I see the sellers warn buyers have to use the right power source.

Are these pumps closed when not powered (like normally closed)?
Why do not they make a 24V version to ease things :fencing

No you need 6, 9 or 2v regulator. Those are cheap.

No. It has a motor. It is a gear pump.
If it has a motor AND one centre input, and one edge output pipe, its centrifugal.

Is this one correctly diaphragm? The title says "diaphragm" but it seems having a motor.

Theres 2 ways to work a diaphram pump. Electro magnet like a piston. Or a motor and a cam... If it has a motor it works with a cam. But you can still see its a diaphram pump from the design/shape.

Diaphram usually wont flow by gravity at low pressures. Since pressure too low to open valves. Self priming. And pulses... Lower pressures and low flow, quiet. Can pump air and uphill.

Centrifugal wont work unless full of water and will not self prime, cant do high pressures. Can do very high flow!
Gear can do very high pressures, and low flow. Self primes, dont like air much... And will allow a dribble to flow under gravity when off.
