i have it on the highest setting - it would be warm enough if it were tighter closer to your body - but unless its close to your chest - you dont really feel it much - maybe in the colder days - i can try it with my jacket over it -

but then i am back to be over dressed and cant move - in my mind i was thinking i can wear less and stay warm the same - more flexable etc, - but not sure it will work that way - so its going to be just a spring fall kind of windbreaker jacket

i may have to get a down jacket - should be ligthest and warmest of them all i think - - i dont go out much in the very cold so i get buy with what i have the few times i have to go out - i know i have dental appt. i have to do so i be back and forth the month of dec. - hopefully thats it then till April May :)

The day starts sooner, the traffic is mixed and chaotic, the city looks more lively and hurry as it is ... breathing. Sometimes I see London and New York in your videos look ... slow :argument

Why? We have a "conjestion charge". You are charged £11.50 every day to do even 1km in london, thats £4,197 per year or about 5000 euros / 7000 dollars to drive your car just in london! Dont pay? Large fines. Plus 200 to 400 tax, plus fuel at £5 per gallon plus! Yess the capitalist west have bigger wages, but its still a significant figure for an average user.

All designed to stop you driving in london by a stupid socialist mayor, idiots thinking they are saving the planet, and getting rich by putting people out of work. :clap :cussing Doesent stop the millionairs with hundreds of £100k mercedes limosines, or rich toy boy's lamborghinis, or worse, hurts all those trying to earn a living with cars and vans. Rediculous. So traffic is artificially low on the surface, and much of the people traveling to work are using the underground train systems.

Hi expresso

The camera is an old gopro hero 3 silver.
I think what helps this camera is the FeiyuTech G5 3-Axis gimbal.

Cool videos Snaker and Mind the Gap. I don't see how you deal with so many people on a daily basis. I go into big cities a few times a year and that is enough!

This is an older video on my first chair build. This is about as crowded as I like it!

nice videos - quality looks good -

i have to get a new camera for the summer also - with so many - hard to pick a decent clone that works well for fast motion since i hardly go slow - going slower would help for sure -

You should record the sound of breaking glass, and replay it while they are sitting on it. See how fast they get off :P

https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B01 ... UTF8&psc=1

just got this camera - has all the features i am looking for - But - i went out and used it first time yesterday - looking over the clips - having mixed feelings - not sure if i am expecting too much from these things or its me with my chair - which i know at times it can be jerky with the road etc, -

some clips are OK and seem fine and then a few at certain locations - seem too jerky and not happy with that result -

i am actually running a clip which i didnt like thru a program to process the shake out of it - if it does work - but if it did work - would mean i have to waste time to process each clip i feel wasnt too good

making me double think and consider returning this camera - But have no clue which to buy any more - i like the remote control feature - and at least 1080p 60 - should hold a 64 gig card Min.

i was first going to go with the SJCAM again - i returned the 5000xelite last year - did a similar effect as this one - at times - maybe was a bit better - but at double the cost - i though it shouldnt have had those effects -

SJ6 Legend i think may be an improvement with a remote -

any inputs on this model ? SJ6 - anyone have a Gopro clone and have good results - can you share the make and model of the camera - with a link so i can check it out -

have 30 days to decide but dont like to wait till last day - once i dont feel good about something - i usually just return it - and since i cant go out to test it again soon - i am thinking of packing it up already -

not looking to spend $500 on Go pros - but at least a decent quality with good anti shake etc, - this camera has both anti shake and Gyroscope - something like that - i had them both on -

2 ways to get smooth video.

1. buy a $$$ gimble and accept the amount of space it uses.
2. buy a cam like the sjcam 5000X elite as it has video smoothing all built in. As I attempted to show on my bot. This rattles around way more than any chair as its tiny. But video is smooth. Watch the wheels. http://www.wheelchairdriver.com/gopro/bot2.mp4

https://www.amazon.co.uk/SJCAM-SJ5000X- ... B01CNGFZ76 this one.

And 60 fps is hugely better but uses double the amount of card memory. And 4k is too much. 1080p is great. That video is compressed to make it small enough to post. If it wont play smoothly download it FIRST!

Are you sure its not your pc making it jerk? Bad graphics driver or bad codecs, bad settings, inadequate graphics capability for hd at 60fps etc?
Because I see none of this. Unless I use the laptops built in graphics at hd resolutions. On my real PC its perfect.

you know - i am watching it on my laptop and it looks much better than on my desktop - laptop seems more clear and detailed

but even on the laptop on those certain clips - certain areas - its still choppy jerky - its me in the chair but shouldnt be that bad - i am going to give it another chance - Sat. should be a decent day - i can go out and test it again - it wont be sunny but want to check how it smooth it is -

it could be me the way i move in the city

i tried that last year - SJCam 5000 elite - and same thing but wasnt as bad - so i returned that also - maybe i can give it another try with the SJ 5000 elite

i was looking for a remote with it this time around - but hey - if it works and no remote - i still take it -

i will give it another try this Sat. and see how it shows -

Can you upload a video that you feel it's jerky?

I see some new 2018 models look good, all Chinese. But not sure if they are much better than yours.

I always prefer JP cameras like the ancient AS20/30 that Will are using.

SJCam 5000 elite

SJCam 5000X elite different cam!

Gyro Anti-shake Stabilization function
2.0 inch LCD Screen/Video Lapse/Camera Lapse/
Android & iOS Wireless mobile connection via Wi-Fi preview / shoot videos & pictures remotely
IP68 waterproof up to 30 meters for capturing water action (need waterproof case)
2K Video Record & 4K @ 24fps and 60FPS (1920x1080P)

It doesent jump if you set up all the camera settings correctly. Video quality excellent at 1080 and 60fps. And its wirelessely controlled. And it has excellent image stabilization built in, all for 100 pounds. If you have issues its either fake and that is a problem, or your playback equipment issues. Its better than my gopros and at 1/3rd the price. Dont buy any cam without good stabilisation/gyro built in.

the clips are about 3 gigs each i think - MP4 format - not sure how i can upload it or where to show you -
p --
i have about 9 clips and the first 5 or so seem very nice and looks ok on my laptop - the last few clips - where i am in the city - more stop and go etc, is the problem clips

on my desktop - looks worse and not as sharp but both computers show the bad clips the same -

- i got my last SJCam from Amazon and checked the serial etc. it shows as the Real Deal - i may try it again - not sure what settings i would need to change

if i have the gryo - ON - 1080p 60 the rest stock - i am looking for the choppy or shaky video - the rest can be adjust color etc, but its mostly fine in stock form -

It seems your camera is having the same problem as mine. The gyro eats a lot energy and the charge current is not enough to feed the camera. E.g each your clip is 30 minutes and the videos starts shaking from clip #6. So the camera works fine in 5 x 30 = 150 minutes. After this time, the battery inside the camera is nearly empty. It cannot feed the camera with gyro on to work properly. The camera still runs and records but all videos are extremely jerky.

You can upload a whole video or a part of some minutes on youtube.

Postby expresso » 23 Feb 2018, 19:51

i dont think thats the reason - because i use a external battery connected to the camera all the time or else the battery would only last 30 mines to a hour before its dead - the smoother parts are when i am moving forward mostly - in the city where i move alot turning back and forth bumps etc, is where its happen

gryo and anti shake may not be as good as some others - but even when i had the SJ 5000 elite - it did it at times also - which was why i returned it - but i guess i have to deal with it and pick something to use - i was expecting to test it again tomorrow but may be raining - i have to wait till next week now - to test it again

will try it on the other chair - that chair is actually smoother moving around - its a slower chair which may be helpful for videos -

i will try to upload it on Youtube and then can link it here
