Those appear to be extremely good. And allow 210Ah in the place of a set of MKs...

So those are the ones I will want for my salsa!

16 of those, including delivery will be a sensible price too. And they claim 3500 cycles, to 80% DOD. So they should easily achieve much more, because its not like we are going to be running them down to that level every day! Or in fact charging every day.

So those are ideal. I want! :worship

How much inc shipping? :shifty:

This is pretty good i reckon

71.7 accurate road miles + 14.3Ah manual discharge + 4Ah manual discharge.

Before recharging I thought I'd discharge to 3.15v, but after 14.3Ah decided to only go to 3.15v. So stopped discharge and reset to 3.15v and carry on but abandoned after an hour or so as I wanted to go to bed.

Recharged in the morning and put back 144.2Ah.

So by my figuring that's, 144Ah - (14Ah + 4Ah) = 126Ah / 71 miles = about 1.75Ah per mile :dance

So that's a long way, 'on warm desert highway with the wind in my hair', or something like that...

Theres an awful lot of people that are the same. Always waiting for an easy way. Endlessely looking at lead brick replacements, or dumb chargers. Thats been going on for 10 years.

They are STILL waiting. Still claiming its all too hard or complicated. It would have been so easy if they just *did it* ... And learned as they went. They would have saved a fortune over that decade. And had tons more range. And more important than anything. They would have learned something in the process. The world is going lithium powered. Solar, cars, bikes, tools, toys, wheelchairs, etc. My nephew just got a lithium cement mixer. Understanding what you are buying, and how to fix, maintain or best keep it healthy is invaluable.

Did Mark E Smith ever get to try a Lithium powered chair before he passed? I remember reading on WCJ he was looking forward to trying one out if I remember correctly.

No he claimed all sorts of things, but was waiting for his company - pride - to 'develop' a lithium chair, and was waiting for them to be developed (lead brick replacements) as apparently all kinds of things needed to be changed and solved and they were still too dangerous etc. But we were all nearly there. That was around 7 or 8 years ago. So no. Seriously though, how long are the big manufacturers going to wait? I dont think its even possible to buy a non lithium gadget or tool or EV of any kind today that isnt lithium.

Scooterman, you have a very odd way of doing screenshots? :clap

All you need do is this.

Press the 'PrtScr' button.
Paste (Ctrl + V) button in any old image editor. Save an image to the desktop. If its graphics, save as a .GIF preferably as it looks sharper. Crop as you wish.

Then upload here with your post.

I forgot he wasnt using a proper computer. :cussing Even right clicks dont work! So most of the commands and stuff you need is just missing... Stupid things macs. So frustrating to use.

Wait... Does a mac, thats trying to run a windows program, in an emulator or whatever they use, also have no right click? :argument

@shirley_hkg is there any chance you can give me the over all dimensions of your battery pack? It might give us a better idea of what chairs it will fit.
I'm using a storm 4 X-plore.
And if you will be going to the trouble of getting some for users how much would it be for eight delivered to the UK?

I used the ones my bros wife has. Several different ones. Works for her as she just thinks its a phone and a shop.

You or anyone with an ounce of computer ability would be pulling your hair out in frustration. To start with try supergluing your right mouse button so it no longer works. And then trying to do almost anything that needs third party software like your chargers. Screwed! As for better, you cant even do a screenshot without remembering half a dozen 4 key combinations, and so that involves a search engine. Fast or configurable or intuitive they are not!

There is a right click button that brings up a menu or hold the control key and left click. If you emulate windows and use control click it'll give the standard windows right click selection. Screen grabs depend upon what you want, full screen, just one window or an area you select, shift, command 3,shift command 4 key combinations. Or use Skitch or Parallels toolbox as you usually want to add comments and highlights or resize depending upon where you are uploading to. I tend to screen grab, edit and resize in one app.

I run Mac and Windows together, R Net, Wizard and PL8 all need windows. Windows is a pain, yet again got another update pending and failing to install, another fresh install needed, luckily I store documents and files in mac os, I'll just need to reinstall the apps. Photos hasn't worked for about 6 months and I won't waste more time trying to fix. Never had problems like those 2 on a mac in just short of 30 years. I just want to use my computer not spend hours updating and fixing, I had enough of command line in DOS no need for that 30 years on.

Second half of a 2P8S pack. Cell #2 is the weakest . Bucket effect allows only 99.615 Ah only.

Draied all cell to their 3.00V , to record their actual capacities.

Cell #1. 99615 + 1350 = 100965
Cell #2. 99615 + 0457 = 100072
Cell #3. 99615 + 0860 = 100475
Cell #4. 99615 + 0965 = 100580
Cell #5. 99615 + 0794 = 100409
Cell #6. 99615 + 0765 = 100380
Cell #7. 99615 + 0742 = 100357
Cell #8. 99615 + 1168 = 100783

Two halves are close actually, except that cell #2 .

My pack hasn't completed yet. drunk2

You shouldn't get 8 cells . Go get 16 of them.

BM owned a Storm4 X-plore once , so he knew it well. I didn't.
He said it can take 16 cells plus insulation. cheers

Never had those issues in W10, mind you I strip out most of the unwanted garbage before I install it. Now I run W10 Ent LTSC2019 with the Store apps I CHOOSE to install, best of both worlds! :ugeek:

BM - on a chair thats 6.5mph - stock - if adding tires 350-8 and lithium - adding volts to the motors - from a stock 22.5V to 25.5V - or 25V - would 8 or 8.5mph be reachable ?

About 7.5 mph is - at least on r-net.

On the 6mph storm brushless above, then they are all exactly the same. So 4, 6 and 8mph ones are just a matter of programming.
