Take a look at the stuff made for motorcyclists and snowmobilers - there are a lot of choices ranging from vests to full coveralls with different levels of heat output and power consumption... Most run on 12VDC nominal, but that can be handled w/ a DC-DC if you get one with a high enough rating....

However it is also important to keep in mind the general concerns about any sort of heated garment and SCI or similar - if you don't have normal temperature sensation be extremely careful - detecting overheating by that wonderful BBQ aroma is not happy making when you are the BBQ.....

thanks i never gave that much though - i do have sensation and will feel it - the jacket i got was a simple wind breaker type and really dosnt do much when i used it - i liked the jacket so i use it without the heat on anyway - i feel it would work best when closer to the body

so heated Long Johns etc, under shirts - or the jacket has to sit very close tight to the body to feel the heat -

Nice

Rather a nice boat at the very beginning, I wouldn't mind owning that.

I went to windsor yesterday and took these photos. I have to hold my phone to film and it's a bit awkward, plus I'm very butterfingers. I suppose I could try rubber banding it to one of the wing mirrors?

As a side issue, it was a 30 mile round trip and on the main runs I averaged 9mph which I was pretty pleased about. It's cos I upped the motor from 24 volts for the littium, wish I'd done that when I first installed it.

Every little helps.

Most of my powerchairs like the salsa, are almost the same as a stock chair. But a multitude of small changes (detail changes, programming, CG, seating and arm adjustments, wheels, tyres, 54 pole, 120A Etc) make the whole thing a totally different machine in use. Transforming it from useless to pretty good with a bunch of minor changes. Yet with a casual look and its almost stock. And as soon as my PPI checque hits the bank I will be ordering 210Ah lithium for it. So all the advantages below as well.

In your case the lithium has lightened it, so better on hills, and because of reduced voltage drop due to no peukert effect on lithium, and less amps drawn anyway (bevcause its lighter) your hill climbing abolity has improved. You are heating the motors less, and the two changes (peukert, less weight) compound each other. On a hill, your mildly modded scooter will now easily overtake a stock one going up a hill while heating its motors /controller less. The added voltage + tweak in programming has made it faster on the flat or downhill too. And increased the range (usability) by a large margin at the same time over a stock scooter while giving its motor a cooler running longer lasting life. So these things all compound each other and mean its really a different scooter.

They're nice cells, are they the new 105Ah Eve's curtesy of Shirley? That must be the most Ah that it's possible to squeeze in 2 x grp 24 space? Ignoring all the benefits of lithium and purely on a Ah for Ah basis, it's the equivalent of 6 x 70Ah lead batteries :dance. Then when you add the benefit of lithium it must be equivalent to even more

Went out today and saw a funny looking donkey with horns, and a nice looking motorbike :dirtbike

No its not.
You can only get 35 to 40Ah AT THE VERY MOST from a 74Ah MK gel.

So you are actually going to need 74Ah MK x 2 for a real 40Ah before the chair stops.

So you will need 4 of them for 80Ah.
And 8 of them for 160Ah.
10 of them MK 74Ah lead bricks will get the same range as the 210Ah lithium cells. And what would that cost? And weigh?

They are meant to. I feed mine daily throughout the winter.

Squirrels are not very bright. They just cant bear the thought of leaving nuts that are supposed to be gathered and 'squirreled' away. So every morning while there are still nuts, they just have to get up and hide, bury, store them away. They are at it even in a foot of snow and ice around my house non stop all winter. Even in january and feb... When the spring comes and it gets warmer they are confused, forgot to hibernate. They feel like fools I expect. The downside is hundreds of peanut trees start growing in the spring from pots, lawn, etc in all my /neibours gardens.

Is it a river or sea? It looks like a river but too large. And the water is very clear. Where is all ... rubbish, I do not see it

Is that a gimbal on the left of the picture? if so do you find it isn't helpful?

hello Ricky Thanks. Gimbal not working to well due to being dropped a few times and Gopro picks up the gimbal motor noise. Was using separate audio capture device and syncing in post, very boring. Now wearing chest mount with no gimbal so no more audio syncing and just have to remember not to lean to the left to use arm rest.
