I use the ProShield Foaming spray for cleaning the area as well then dry properly (a gentle hair dryer works best to reduce friction) I followed by a liberal dose of barrier cream worked well into the crevices.
When it's really hot n sweaty (and I was a little bit overweight so there was a flesh overhang) we cut 75 - 100mm wide strips of Terry towelling folded in half and pushed into the crevice to absorb the moisture. It worked well.
