Seems to be a tricky one to find - found the 2017 version (there's a 2013 too) but it's pretty sparse/useless as service manuals go...

Is that the same one I found? Doesn't even mention GB motors... 4.6Mb, 52 pages?

Is this the manual you found Irving... https://www.manualslib.com/download/132 ... x-Sp2.html

Yep, it doesn't mention GB motors anywhere.

Yes, that's the only one that was downloadable for free. There was another on a pay site (Scribd or manualzz, can't recall which) but i think it was same one (edit: manualzz actually is 208 pages and downloadable, but still no GB info). And Invacare.ie had a broken (404) link to one. Invacare.es has the same manual but dated 2018.

This is the 2019 Service Manual for the TDXSP2... https://www.invacare.co.uk/sites/uk/fil ... manual.pdf

No mention of GB motors which means Invacare must have a lot of issues that they can't resolve with the GB Setup.

Other than date, that appears to be pretty much the same as the earlier ones. Still only 52 pages.

The manuals for the US RWD H-frame models (Storm, Ranger-X, etc.) have a pretty decent amount of info on the GB stuff, and a lot of it will be the same, as they use the same motors, controllers, etc. Just different swingarms and mounting stuff on the frames...

With one massive difference though. We have the newer control systems, that were never used in the US. So more programmable, and more options. The motors themselves may be the same. But different tyre positions on the drum.

It may depend on the vintage... My understanding is that US and elsewhere used the same control systems up until the last generation, which wasn't allowed into the US... My GB chair had MKIV electronics, but I believe the later chairs had at least MKV and MKVI depending on age....

Does anybody know the key difference between Ottobock Juvo B4 vs B5 vs B6? Through the videos, I see they all look similar.

Their website is aysmal, no info.

But its yet another rear drive option. Although not in the US as far as I know.

New to Powerchairs and the like, but wanting to optimize as much as I can. Living in the USA I can't get Dietz Power sadly from what I see... Would of loved to see that in the USA. :problem:

However, assuming most of what's on this list is available in the USA, I'd say I would be suck between the Sunrise quick S646, the Salsa R2, and the Invacare Storm 3G Ranger X... (Although I saw that the storm 4 came out. is that any good? and what of the Pride Quantum list? I saw that they were one of the fastest Powerchairs available, but none from that company made it on this list, so I bet their methods of nazi walling the OEM are so good, they steered clear of the list, yet, still curious.)

If there are any better recent new comers that have yet to be updated on the list, let us all know as well! Would love to hear more thoughts to keep this forum up to date. :dance

Nevermind- it seems the only quality Sunrise product that's acknowledge as well rated in the USA Magic Mobility V6 (As long as I can find it in rear drive, still a bit too wide for my liking.) czy

Theres a LOT of rear drive chairs in the EU/UK/rest of world. For some reason they are not available in the US. You have almost no choices for RD there.

Why that is baffles me. The salsa in your list is by far the best option, and I have one. But again not available in the USA. The old S646 and similar derivatives are decades old designs and belong in a museum. Those were replaced by more modern chairs at sunrise with 4 generations of newer chairs, again not in the UK. The storm 4 explore again and a few previous generations of chairs wasnt sold in the US either, and I had one of those storm 4 explore too... Theres the Ottobock Juvo chairs too. Again not sold in the US?

The rear drive version of the V6 is called the V4 in most of the world. And was taken over by sunrise and is built in australia. Not sure if thats available in the US but its not on your insurance options I am told on here.

So you are basically left with the middle of the road invacare chair which unfortunately has Linx controls, or the pride rear drive which has a similar issue with no OEM level programming tools available either.

I do not know what I would do in the US. Probably buy one of those 2 and swap their control systems for r-net. And fit lithium. Or cough up and pay out of pocket for the V4. Manufacturer https://www.magicmobility.com.au/wheelc ... heelchair/
