I knew you'd say something like that!

Or... Water, grit and dust gets in as you drive. And the grease gets washed away by rain and dries out over time. They just fit anything at all however cheap just to get it out of the door. As long as it works for a year while under warranty they dont care.

Its a weird thing. If its on my window cill, men, all imediately go towards it and start looking and fiddling...
Women, never.
If its on my bed, men, same.
Women, however, pick it up, and put it somewhere else. Anywhere. Obviously they see it as uninteresting, and in the way.
If it was a boring bottle of smelly/aftershave or something the men ignore it, the women go to it and open it...
So I started running it on 'obsession' after shave. Because I have some. And its mainly alcohol. Smells great!
Runs exactly the same, needs fuel valve slightly richer setting.

Going to try lavender oil and and orange oil... Then run it instead of an air freshener! Keep my living room smelling nice.

I'd be inclined not to - seems like it would be more likely to trap and retain moisture.... Leaving them bare w/ an occasional shot of lube would probably last longer...
