Who remembers these?

Did a little testing before they were on the market. Not allowed to go far. It was better than the later ibot4000. But both were flawed. Great tricks, terrible daily chairs.

4 (Wheels) is the ideal number...

Well its got 4 drive wheels as you see. And 2 casters. (terrible small rock hard overloaded casters that bounce off ridges and edges. This thing is super nose heavy to the point of destroying front casters very fast). In "normal" mode.

Its got a 4x4 mode. But tears its tyres to bits and murders its tiny battery if you attempt turning on a hard grippy surface.

I had a chance to try the NEW one a few months back, and it was interesting, but I don't see myself wanting one as a 'daily driver' - fun to play with, but huge and slow going between modes... This was at the Adaptive Defensive Shooting Summit, and the guy running the event (Trevor Baucum, a pro shooter for Ruger) had one that I never saw him stop to charge it, and he was definitely buzzing all over the place with it, almost always in two-wheel mode... Batteries are still proprietary, and I think Lithium Cobalt (scary!) but seem to be doing pretty well on range...

I have an Ibot 4000 that's parked at the moment because it needs batteries. I agree, they're not that great for an everyday chair, I can get around faster and do more in my Quickie 646. The best feature is the 2 wheel stand up mode.
