Postby radfanken » Wed Mar 07, 2012 2:26 pm

Hi to you all, l'm Ken a 69 year old with generalised ostio-arthritis affecting most but not all joints, however l try not let this interfer with life. I am still caravaning and as my dearest doesn't drive l have to do that as well, she still thinks l am a teenager when driving can't stand old slow f', -arts lets side down!! Further l spend quite a lot of spare time in the back yard shed though this helps with the arthritis to keep moving, jobs just take that bit longer to finish. We have 4 children 16 to 24, 3 still at home 1 at university, and we live in Sedgley west Mdland (black country) here in good old UK.
By the way how does one get rid of the children the oldest has been back and forth 3 times aready, you will have guessed that l started our family late in life my wife is a lot younger aren't l lucky !! l have spent some time in the forces, been a HGV driver and Transport Manager for a print company and finally a pensioner, not too bad a life so far here's to a interesting future.

Getting rid of children? Dunno because I dont see the point of them. What are they for?

You could just move while they are out.

My brother hates his mother in law. So when she comes to stay, he turns off the radiator at the non adjustable end with a spanner so she freezes. That could help too. Oh and take the door off. They like their privacy.

By the way how does one get rid of the children

Try looking in the phone book under "Pest Control"? Or alternatively we have services in the US that will haul away unwanted stuff, such as cleaning out basements or attics - i.e. "1-800-GOT-JUNK" - perhaps one of them can help...

Or you could try the old Monty Python solution and sell them to science.... :P

There is a reason manny call them the boomerang generation. Wish I could offer you some encouragement but my best frienfpd had one move back in 3 yrs ago with a pregnant wife and 1 baby she is now (the kid s wife) pregnant with her third and there does not seem to be any exit in sight.

My son came back 2 times in his early 20s but since he joined the military has stayed out if that gives you any ideas ;-)
