Wanted: R-net LED joystick

Postby steves1977uk » 09 Jul 2021, 20:05

I'm looking for a R-net LED joystick with lights/indicators function. Doesn't matter if it's used but has to be in working order. Needed for making a custom joystick.

Might be better to use an advanced colour one. Because a) bigger screen. And b) you can read that in outdoor conditions. And that becomes important with seating controls.

Great idea, except you're overlooking one thing BM. It will be mounted to my right footplate and I wouldn't be able to see the screen unless I bend forward. :fencing A LED joystick can do all the seating functions like the CJSM2. No Bluetooth/IR mind, but I can do without those.

All I'm after is a joystick with buttons I can operate with my toes to operate lights/indicators/actuators instead of a menu based system like the CJSM2/Omni2. Which is why I stripped it off my Dietz chair.

No I wasnt! I was thinking that the screen could be up top where you can see it easily. And the rest, buttons etc can be any type thats easy for you and down near your foot.

You would need a ribbon cable to connect both ends made into a compact loom.

Maybe I'll try that at a later date BM. Just want to see how easy/hard it is to re-case a joystick and buttons.

Rover, is the Omni2 screen the same size as the CJSM2 one? If so, then I'll stick with my original plan.

Thanks Fred. But that pod doesn't have the lights/indicators buttons that I need. I managed to get one for £108.99 which isn't too bad.
