F55 Frame for sale

Postby segreen » 22 Oct 2014, 22:04

2 x F55 frames for sale. 1 x brand new Mk3 and 1 x used MK2 frames. Make me a decent offer plus pay for delivery. Loads of other parts available, too many to list but includes Motors, wheels, tyres and PMA's etc. Just send me a secure message and if I've got it, make me an offer.

What colour is the MK3 one?

May be interested. But I bought 2 black ones already. Say on my lounge floor.

How do you end up with an unpainted one? Mine came new in black or whatever colour I chose.

Simple really, I wanted to powdercoat my chair a different colour so I asked for an unpainted frame. No point having a fresh painted frame and then pa1inting it to a different colour.

Are the goods still for sale? Just parts or assembled? I may be interessed in all of it as I may have found a mechanic willing to help building a BM2.

Hi, I'm after a control unit for f55s. I have just bought it of eBay and I would like if possible to exchange the big controller (21 pins I think for a smaller basic joy stick. It is stripped of tilt leg lifts etc but I don't know if this is possible, any thoughts? Cheers

Not sure anyone understands what you mean. In the other thread too. Whats a big controller? Whats a small controller?

There were 4 or 5 different control systems used on the F55 powerchair. The newest one is also no longer made, but easy to get. Its a Pilot Plus and there are many different joystick pods with and without lights and seating controls, and all of these need a box under the seat. Theres 3 of these. 50A on 4mph chairs, 80 amp on 6mph chairs, and a few 100A ones that were retro fitted. All of these will need reprogramming to work with whatever motors your chair has. If they are 2 pole motors you better find some 4 pole 6mph ones first!
