Nothing holds that end. I used a dab of contact adhesive.

Right , front plate is held by 4 screws.
Beware of thin wires attached. Just open up a little bit , so you can dip a little viscous glue to hold the free end.
Hot glue , silicone , etc.

Yay, my ZXD arrived and I've now got a noise like there's an aeroplane revving up in my bedroom - fortunately this cacophony will be in the garage keeping my wheelchair there on a float charge, when I have figured out how to get the machine to do that. Does anyone have the instruction translation? The link to Steve's translation gives a 404 error and I have never downloaded it in the meantime.

Its simple once you figure out that one button/knob push, wait, release, turn, etc interface!

Esp for lng term float. Just set as power supply and set to 13.3 to 13.4V per 12v batt. And 1A max.

Yeah, my new PSU is also louder than the other two ZXD's I have. Funnily enough if you apply pressure to the centre of the fan, it quietens down until you let go. I'm thinking rubber anti-vibration rings are needed between case and fans.

A FUNNY THING HAPPENED ON THE WAY TO THE INSTRUCTIONS

One of my ZXD was misbehaving, outputting ca. 1/2 the V and A it was set for, so I wanted to look at the translations which I'd stored as bookmarks in Firefox. Last week they opened with some strangeness, such as the link to Appendix 2 going to Appendix 3 (fixed by changing the URL), but they were usable. This week they opened in European-character encoded Chinese. Even though Google translate said that they were translated to English, they were identical to directly opening the Chinese URLs.

Eventually, I copied the URLs from Firefox and pasted them into Internet Explorer. There they Google translated quite nicely and all links worked! So, I was able to re-run the auto calibration which showed no errors and the power supply started working properly. I then re-did the factory menu settings to my liking so am back in business.

To avoid going through these hoops again I saved the pages of most interest as full html on this PC. Perhaps important only for this old Fujitsu convertible that is running normal Win10 instead of LTSC --- hence, Internet Explore nags with multiple screens saying IE will be decommissioned in June, urging me to change to Edge, then trying to automatically open Edge and all other web-based MS garbage. In any case, if you have trouble opening the instructions from one browser, try another.

Here's the URL of the main page that doesn't translate in Firefox but is translated in IE:

https://translate.google.com/translate?act=url&depth=1&hl=en&ie=UTF8&prev=_t&rurl=translate.google.com&sl=auto&sp=nmt4&tl=en&u=http://diy.lgm3361.com/zxd2400/3/&xid=25657,15700023,15700124,15700149,15700168,15700186,15700189,15700190,15700201,15700205

That page contains links to the rest, but if you bookmark the URLs you can go directly to the ones you want. For example, Appendix 2 - Factory Menu is

Chrome on my phone translated them fine (I guess -but I'm not convinced about the whore being correct on page 1  )
Though they might just as well be in Chinese.

Would this PSU be the best option for keeping a set of group 24 mk gel 70ah batteries alive outside of the chair?
I don't really want to use my icharger for this.

Its the best option for charging one battery. 2 in series. 2 in parallel. the battery in the chair set to 12A max, and any other scenario you could think of.

For gel for e.g it can be set to 14.1v with a termination of 0.3A and a float of 13.6 in cyclic use, 13.45v in storage use, etc. but its main use is as a power supply for your various needs like powering a hobby charger. Its a 3000 watt capable, 2 or 3 stage charger or powr supply. 0 to 60V and 0 to 50A if powered from a 230v supply. But its loud and over the top power wise as a maintainer only.

To keep the alive outside the chair you need only charge them monthly. Or hold them at 3.4 to 13.5v indefinitely. That only needs much less than an amp.
