Plug and play. The only risk is if its an x permobil one. Then its possible it may have a different firmware or something. Even then it should still work.

Somewhere on my other PC. But the parts are also on the sunparts website.
I will look later.

Thanks again,
Looks like have to buy the whole assembly to fix leaking shock in rear springs. So annoying.

It's a separate part showing on the PDF except indeed it doesn't have a separate part No. :?

That said, I would look elsewhere at replacing the shocks. I'm sitting in mine now so can't see them but I'd be measuring them up and looking to see if there are better alternatives out there. Scooters, mountain bikes etc.

Hello there,

Changing tyres. I would like to change the castor wheels 9 INCH X 2.8/2.5-4 SOLID tyres to the Carlisle tyres 8x3.00-4/2.25 Reliance Smooth (pictured below). https://www.middelbos.nl/buitenband-carlisle-reliance-smooth-8x3-00-4 Does anyone has knowledge about the Carlisle tyres? Do the Carlisle tyres 8x3.00-4/2.25 fit the castor wheels 9 INCH X 2.8/2.5-4 of the q700r? Do they offer a smoother ride then the 9 inch solid tyres? All suggestions are welcomed.

Thank you in advance for the help you may offer.

From my experience the 9 inch tyres always give a smoother ride. And the solid ones always much worse. But theres a bit more to it because on my own chair I fitted a centre mount footplate so as to allow the seat to go further back without heels hitting the tyres. The reason for fitting the fatter 8 inch tyres (with tubes) was to allow the seat to go about 1 inch further back. This meant binning the front tyre guards too. Not for ride reasons.

This means that much more weight is over the rear drive wheels. And so the harsher ride from the front casters is mostly felt by my feet rather than the rest of me. So not so important.

So theres a few things to consider here.

Will the solid versions fit? I cant say for sure but I think so.
