So after reading all this, I am currently at a crossroads and looking for some advice. I built my 3-year-old a go-kart using a "Pride Victory 10". It utilizes the DR90-A01 controller, the wig-wag throttle pot, the speed limiting pot, and the rear trans axle with 400w 24v 4 pole motor. This thing is a tank and runs and drives perfectly...however, he is starting to get used to the speed. I want to upgrade the motor to a slightly faster 2-pole, and maybe upgrade batteries while I'm at it. I know that the DR90 will power everything I need, but not without programming due to certain settings causing havoc with start, stop, battery thresholds, and such.
So I'm trying to decide if I go down the road of paying for a over priced adatper, make my own and hope it all works out, or upgrade to a different controller. It seems that the USB-adapter everyone kept linking to is no longer available to be delivered in the United States.
Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
