I've noticed a lot of threads on here where people have to wait for assistance to do major part assembly or heavier fabrication and I've found something in the US that might be worth looking for in the UK.
I'm totally not associated with them. But the process was so fast and clicky-clicky, I just had to share.

I just sent them a .dxf (2d autocad file) for a carrier plate for all the rollers on a modified track drive. It's about 300mmx250mm with a dozen holes, slots and radiused corners. Out of 4130 steel (Cro-Mo for bike people). What's impressive is the prices have gotten much lower. For .190" 4130, I got two plates cut for $164, shipped from NV to MN.
It is something to seriously consider, to learn 2d and 3d drafting to make what you need. No grinders. No hand drills. It's getting cheap here in the US.
