Lithium Battery Paks in the US

Postby DirtinLa » 30 Apr 2021, 14:46

I know there is full instructions on here how to do it yourself... Is anyone on here doing it themselves and then selling them to someone such as me???

I'm located in S. Louisiana and am past due for a new set of batteries.

I have a Permobil C300 with the old R-Net controller.

If anyone is please shoot me a price with a charger system delivered to 70737

Fredc.lake@gmail.com

Thanx in advance,

thats a tough one - too many things can go wrong this way - not having the chair to measure for size - fit it etc, - shipping would be a problem

at least for me - i am in NYC - i would be willing to make a pack for anyone who is here - so i can see the chair - etc, i did one for a friend

shes lives in my building and has same chair so i knew what to do - actually her pack was made for my new chair that i didnt get till a year later - so she took it having the same chair - it fitted and working

but you can do it - with larger cells now - you only need 8 cells - get 9 one for a spare - but only need 8 - its alot easier to do now -

charge you need the PL8 and PSU - you can order them now - Cells are Cheaper also - you can spend the same as a pair of MK 24s -

One of the problems is that you really need to understand how it all works, understand what is going on - its not plug and play.

yes i agree - at the least the basics - and make an effort to monitor them - check them - etc, its pretty much plug and play once all done -

its the best it will be - unless using a BMS - then its really plug and play - and soon more issues - would be complicated down the line if and when things go wrong - you wont know - cant see - and most wont care -

till it dosnt work - or gives problems - or maybe it wont for years

Which cells are you referring to? Do you have a link?

one of many - at this cost - no reason to continue with lead - a little effort making wiring - understand the basic - keep asking questions

Those were the ones that were super cheap but not A grade.

Pay a bit more and get new, A grade cells. But the price is good.

they say New - grade A - i dont know - and even New is who knows -

if i post a link - its just an example - what can be had - cost wise - its cheaper than Lead - its up to the buyer - to ask the seller questions and make sure you get what you ask for

Brand New Grade A - - as for me - i have yet to get Brand New Grade A cells - and no one here has ever posted the cells they got - if they were Grade A Brand New -

if anyone does get them - please post a link so we know -

Lenny just ordered some. All you really need to do is read feedback, and if they dont match capacity you bought file a claim. If any have high self discharge, or removed hologram thingy, or whatever then do the same.

yes lenny did buy - not sure he received them yet ?

they say one thing and you get another thing - so cant trust what they say-

if QC label scratched off - first sign - not new - check for Cap - if they dont give you full 200ah - then you know for sure

mines didnt - if they did - i would have let it go - but being they didnt - and QC scratched off - i filed a claim - compliant with my CC

i first tried to work it out with the seller - he didnt want to - his lose - he should have - instead he didnt and lost it all -

good for me

was not my intention - i stressed it over and over only Brand New cells - 200ah - i told them i would check and test each cell

i think they learned a lesson - if not they would be really stupid

feedback isnt always true either and not everyone tests them etc, - they check the volts when they arrive - means nothing - the one link that says Grade A - would be the best chance of maybe getting new grade A cells -- the only other thing you have to watch is the total size height - at 233mm - thats tight - depends what chair you will use them in or a custom size battery box etc, but they seem the best strong posts also - hopefully Lenny gets them as advertised - dont use the last link from alibaba - they sell used
