really - hows that then - what about the black and green wire or white that goes to the 3 pin connector inside ?

the picture shows that

looks like 3 wires get soldered inside

Thats a schematic. Its to show how to wire it. You dont need to solder that. What do you think that servo lead is for?

PLUG that lead into the same 3 pin connector OUTSIDE!
Run the wire to the INSIDE and solder the ends to the BT module, black negative and the signal wire? Green or directly to the pin the green wire is connected to. Same thing.

LOOK CAREFULLY!!!

I have only said this about 10 times so far! :fencing
Why solder it when you can plug it in... And to use the FUIM3 for firmware updates you just unplug it and its no longer doing anything. Use your soldering iron to melt a tiny U in the plastic and lay the wire in it. Like this.

i seen that already - well in that case - its even easier then - glad you told me now - the picture would suggest you need to solder inside on those 3 pins - in that case - only the red wire to the cap pos needs to be soldered inside

white wire solder to green wire - black wire soldered to black wire on BT with UBEC black wire - thats it

mines wont be as neat - i already used the dremel and cut the whole thing to expose those 3 pins -

That's if you don't want the servo lead connected expresso, completely internal. With the servo lead sticking out the back, you can use the FUIM3 or the BT.

yes thats the plan to be able to use either in case its needed later on - consider this a done deal - its simple now that i get it - i guess the pic actually threw me off course - and few other things but i am back on course and i now know what i have to do - as long as i dont screw up the solder inside - i should be fine

And it only took 67 posts and 22 pictures and 4 days!

Now you know what to connect to what, you can do a simple wiring system, without wires all soldered to each other etc. So its easy to bung inside. Simplicate it.

thats actually a short time - considering - i left the PL8 open so i can get this done

yeah well the pictures actually didnt help knowing what i now know - i mean they did help some but if any one see those pictures - they would think the same way - that the wires have to be soldered inside on the 3 pin connector also -

As I said. Painting by numbers doesent work.

You just need to know what those 2 boards do. And what their connection mean and thats written on them!

Then YOU can wire it in the easiest, neatest way you wish. What matters is whats going on electrically. Not pictures or other stuff. A schematic is just that a circuit diagram. HOW you connect it all physically is your business.

PL8 POWER (+ ONLY) to UBEC input.
UBEC output to BT plus (+) and minus (-) connections.
Servo wire to BT minus (-), and signal connection. red (+) not connected.

THAT IS IT!!!

Thats ALL you needed to know.

At the end of the day its super simple, 4 wires, a string. PL8 one wire soldered. > UBEC output to BT Module > BT module to servo wire. And not even the red... And I was telling you this endlessely but you wasnt reading it and wanting pictures...

well pictures were needed - but can also confuse you if not aware - yes i see it now that its easy - i mean after the BT board was made first with the diode soldered in place neatly - great job on Woody for that - i am not worried now later i get up to do it - i know what i am going to do

thats the difference before - i didnt know what i was goin to do - an idea yes but not sure of anything really - i see it now - one wire only gets soldered inside - i do all the work outside - then solder one wire inside and close it up

servo black wire and ubec black wire goes on the BT black wire - white servo wire goes in the green BT wire - thats it - red ubec wire goes on the Pos Brown Cap inside - done as long as the Pos brown cap is the same side as the pic - i assume they would all be made the same

but it got done - so it was worth it - honestly i dont get how it was going to be connected before i cut off the connectors that i was not suppose to cut - maybe i look over it again on the other one that i didnt touch - i am missing something for sure

but i do get how to do it now how i will do it - BT both red and black are connected to UBEC - and black servo wire also - so i had it correct yesterday when i did that - i cut it after - will redo it better this time - wire is very thin

Go to DEVICE MANAGER and dont delete ANY. Disable the higher one (usually). Restart everything.

If that doesent work, disable the other one instead. Restart everything.

Make sure you removed the incoming port (in the "more bluetooth options"). Then restart your PC/laptop.

Did you explicitly set the COM4 in the PL8 software? Or you still leave it AUTO?

Pairing successfully only means the BT module is properly powered.

"No data" means something wrong with the white/green wire.

Now you are stepping in the hardest part that frequently happens to everyone who do electronics: Diagnosing and Debugging. You have to open PL8 and post pics, especially the location where the white/green wire goes.

i was afraid of that

white servo wire to the green wire - from BT

red black wire from ubec to bt red and black - and the servo black going to the same black wire

i soldered it - taped it and stuck it inside -

its not working

i have to open it - what am i looking for now - - the 3 pin servo cable looks fine outside correct way - black and green white wire -

red is not used - it lights up inside when its plugged in the 3 pin servo wire - thats about it - no data - could it be a window issue ?

It is hard to say anything without pics.

Making a electronic thing is easy, diagnosing and fixing errors is hard and costs time. That's why we always have to be carefully prepared for that hard part from the beginning.

i will open it - but dont want to unsolder it from the brown cap now -

cant see what i did wrong - but will have to open and take a pic - i got them taped - do i have to remove the tape to show the solder ?

i may have a bigger problem now - charger dosnt power up now -
