I can make additional wheel spacers out of aluminum if y’all need any. Let me know if pic doesn’t show.

Oh forgot. It was a jazzy elite or something like that, put new batteries in, want to do the lithium swap but gotta save up some disb checks. It’s got 14in atv tires with aluminum adapters I machines to work with the original keyed hubs. Rear arm is off another junkyard chair and has 8 inch solids on it. I had to lose a bunch of weight out of the chair so I tossed the old seat assembly wasn’t comfortable for my particular issue anyway and welded up a plate and post to support a tractor seat. Machined spacers for the fenders to raise them two inches and then reinforced the rear axle with a plate that will also allow me to tow a little trailer or something. Works great for getting around the farm. Wish I could get rid of the delay in the controller though. Otherwise has good torque and range. Thanks for y’all a help with info and questions especially burgerman and woody.

Why can't you?.... It should just be a question of correct programming.

Is the stock controller on a jazzy elite programmable? I thought the weren’t. If they are I’d love to know how.

What control system / joystick does your Jazzy have ... VSi or?

https://www.electricwheelchairparts.com ... ation1.htm

Looks from the pic that it might be P&G GC?

Worst case, if it is one of the not easily programmed controllers that Pride has used, it certainly would be possible to swap out the electronics for one that is... Given that Pride tends to use pretty weedy controllers, it is likely a swap would also give the chair added testicular power

IMHO for a one off swap, I'd go for Pilot+ since that has the lowest cost to get programming access....

Nice job on the build BTW...

Did you build this for a specific purpose or use?

I did, me and the wife use to go on hikes and walk the farm. My nerve damage has got so bad that doesn’t happen anymore. I have a manual chair I built but it’s only good for smooth pavement. This one will allow me to go on gentle trails and walks with her and also help me get around the farm. I’ve got a golf cart but it has its limitations.

This is the manual chair I built a couple years ago. I made it out of conduit. Recently bent one of the front caster feet trying to get it out the door. So I built the jazzy chair as a more robust option.

Those are lovely! Great work. Now I want to stick a tractor supply suspension seat on the tilt platform of a Quantum Q6 edge, and add those ATV tires. Any specific info on the tires, rims, and shaft adapters? Would you build wheel adapters for pay? Something like https://www.ebay.com/itm/124565564398?_trkparms=aid%3D1110002%26algo%3DSPLICE.SOI%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D233907%26meid%3D440d02c4c50c480aa268010ae2f58822%26pid%3D101196%26rk%3D1%26rkt%3D3%26sd%3D124515476337%26itm%3D124565564398%26pmt%3D1%26noa%3D0%26pg%3D2047675%26algv%3DPromotedSellersOtherItemsV2WithMLRv3%26brand%3DPermobil&_trksid=p2047675.c101196.m2219&amdata=cksum%3A124565564398440d02c4c50c480aa268010ae2f58822%7Cenc%3AAQAGAAACEHMBTqQXhq1No9xymou1HmayaWN5BVBdMgjU%252BF4gcE1V1NgcPZNUxCc2h514S34sWLKH2CJikhB75NPHKgH6JW3QwJ1NLzuSO7DxcndT1WWVRouxqOSMPoF01fzzUreCFoORnOM7rBFcq8UbdH2vCErW8YdlrVVdtu5mScl6Z0uR7fKxTW2RcJ6IS3M33KtJH3PVSoRgDW2oQyjGyfnOZ%252Bo0b8VCcLwpAGfNFA3JisloPwuyhAbtyDDXo0npFCkMahl2TzXbSp%252FQW3XDL39WPUS%252FlFlA4V3eIgT9x%252FhuisDwaW1hQJfoB0xGr6D9DfokIA3S5fWAg%252BgefuHKFwW%252BKFFtL9u3ocnLjpblR5Yel1ueixjcjYZ%252FR%252BYPgaIB9U6yodA7PCxstbjeXCwlQark8yavPa7SrJapuL0BtrJFtTr29o532s0cIi7LZOmzUeTFWgHT7o1m7pYp8oDV4Kj1jEdPmEwPyolJlJ31CWaqeqL97seGiWhgeCFYjDZ%252FfdazikFMkSnwiYcLRXJgkyNlc%252FaJyNtkrR%252F0p4znMlRRYr%252F8gc3U1BOPdUqpWkRkGQsrgbYVlFOv0Fd5As8NTfci4rHH5bbxegvU3M8mqmHIkEbV25yTwLMM932ZgfYVVvfXpPuLvfy4JcDN7Yhd6T9BZCFSy1LNkO6BCunEqJYwLwB7NPPGaVO7fkqzCtfexvarwg%253D%253D%7Campid%3APL_CLK%7Cclp%3A2047675

Also curious about the manual chair. Did you use a manufactured camber tube or build that out of conduit as well? What type and size conduit is that? Would you suggest any improvements after using it?

The control system is made by Penny & Giles ( P.G.D.T ) ,so try the P.G.D.T. Mobility software ...note that PRIDE can be a P.I.T.A for locking down their brand ( re- brand ) so the software may not connect.

A programming cable is easy to make and Software can be found.

If you're talking a normal programming lead from a vr2 or similar then it won't work on the gc.

Oh wow, no, the wheels I used are standard 14” atv tires on 3 lug rims. I bought the tires already mounted on the rims for 80 dollars off eBay. The adapters I can make you they are 3/4 in thick with a bore hole size sized to accept the original key hole hub and then the new wheels bolt to it. Works great. Send me your address and I’ll just send you some. The manual chair I built the whole thing out of standard 3/4 conduit with my tubing bender and mig welder. The only regret is not building my own caster mounts cause they’re way too thin and bent.

I just realized that the link you sent me was the same wheels and tires but with the adaptors already added. That an absurd price. I’ll give you the adaptors, that’s crazy.
