Tire Balls

Would they work for drive tires?
Would they work in building a seat cushion?
Would they work in building a commode seat?
Believe sizes range from bicycle to atv.
They aren't cheap but neither is a roho.

I can visualize a seat cushion where the cover to encase these is just as important as the balls. Maybe an outer ring with larger and more inflated balls for transfer stability. Center area smaller softer inflated balls. IIRC they say the balls only loose 10% pressure in a year. Maybe none of that roho air loss worry.

As I see it, the cells need to be interconnected to allow air to move around to equalise pressure as the roho does. So not sure they would be of much benefit. You are looking for floatation. And max submersed depth to minimise and maintain low and identical pressure everywhere over the max area possible.

If you had a ROHO with a small low pressure tireball inside each "finger" you would get the benefit of interconnected cells without the problem of bottoming hard in the case of a leak. A run flat ROHO. Still repairable. The added lateral friction could reduce the sideways motion that ROHO can have at intermediate pressures. It would also drastically increase the price of an already very expensive cushion.

As slow as our wheel speeds are, they should work fine in drive tires.
