Thanks Burgerman! I've already got an Rnet module off Ebay, but I've been hesitant because of the actuators. Right now I'm in a bit of a messy situation. I've been wanting to try a Sunrise Medical power chair and see if the seating system might be more suitable than Permobil F-series.
Seating...
I totally ignore how every chair "feels" when tested. Because a seat or chair can feel absolutely wrong or useless, which you will dismiss, if a few minor things are not configured correctly. Remember its just a matter of configuration and seating cushions/back. All chairs are the same prety much. Once properly set up.
When you test this sunrise chair it will probably feel terrible. All mine did. Until I got the tools out. Seatng width, arm position in 3d, seating depth, footrest position in regards length, foot angle, leg angle, and seat dump etc are all adjustable to completely match your "good" permobil, As is seat backrest and angle/position/shape. So is chaurs CG and driving position and programing. So permobil, sunrise, or any other make is not really important. Only configuration. Someting as simple as controller position, or or arm top type can be the difference between good or bad. It takes me a couple of days at least to get all this right.
Also when testing sunrise chairs you need the simple easy to program and fix sedeo pro seating. Not the ergo seting... Thats as over complex as the permobil. And as unreliable it seems too.
