Sorry I cant. They all seem flimsy and unstable to me. A better solution that you dont want to hear is a mobility vehicle that allows proper powerchairs to be used.

Also consider that in the future things may not get better.

Others may be more help.

I have never tried one myself but I guess they would be ok on paths in shops.
Some dealer shops might have a few models you could try.
E-bay always has a few.

Best option I've found for fo;ding chairs is the Alber E-fix system which goes onto a folding chair - not a fantastic range but they do fit a manual chair and allow for folding and dismantling to go into a small car. I haven't found anything else that goes anywhere near this for getting into a small car but it is not a cheap option

There are a large number of 'Chinese Folders' that are all very similar (and probably most were made in the same factory other than the details) but as others have pointed out, they are pretty limited, smooth surfaces only, relatively short range, and not very comfortable / rugged. Basically their only real virtue is portability and relatively low cost. They are possibly OK for people with relatively minor disabilities but are far from being 'rehab grade' chairs.

It can be a difficult reality to face up to, but my understanding is that MD is generally a progressive degenerative disease, so it is likely that your wife's mobility support needs are only going to get more severe, This is why most of us would probably suggest looking at the long term and working towards a vehicle and other home mods suitable for use with a full on rehab grade chair.
