dynamic linx OEM patch no longer works after update

i have dynamic linx. I just updated the linx programming. The OEM patch is no longer working.

this is really shitty. Im going lithium but no longer have OEM access to change voltage and motor compensation i HATE linx

LUCKLY i just purchased the only manufacturers version of the linx programmer ive ever seen available (thanks bm)

Does the software autoupdate itself? If so, just block it's internet access with Windows Firewall and re-install the modified version. I assume it doesn't need net access to function?

Did the guy that did the "fix" not say that he also included updates if/when it changed? You should email him.

Think that guy would need to hire the programming person to help him modify it again BM, which means he'd likely charge for any future updates. In which case you may as well swap the LiNX setup for R-Net and get free updates. There's a possibility Dynamic have put in some self-checking routines in various places in the update, so any modified code would refuse to run.

Yep I talked to him ( he's very helpful) he's going to send me a new patch today. No charge he updates the patch for free if you bought the patch originally. But be sure to contact him incase

I bought and paid for the patch yesterday, still waiting for it. Had an email from the chap telling me its now €400 ! And not the €121 advertised.

And now he's not responding to emails messages etc.

Any other way to oem the shitty software.

If you purchased it yesterday, it may take him a day or two to respond he may be busy but I'm sure he will get back to you.. He has been vary helpful to me when he had no reason to be. Don't panic yet give it another day or two. Then if you don't hear from him send me a pm.
This is the only way to get OEM with linx. It does seem expensive but in my opinion it's a must have even as shitty as it is

Simple. Never entertain any chair in future that does not have a simple path to full OEM level programming or better.

Longer term. When they dont sell many they will change their minds. But this requires that many people understand and actually do this and explain why they dont want linx...
