Old PG controllers - are they swappable?

I have d49982 PG controller in my old Quantum chair. Can I swap it with d49670/03? They look almost the same - the dongle shafts and knobs are diffferent.

What is a dongle shaft?

All the "oval" joystick pods are interchangable on a 100% PG drives pilot plus system. Yours is pride and so it MAY be fully compatible or it may have been modified in firmware to force you to buy pride, force you to have limted programmer access, and so I cant be 100% sure it will swap without issues. But I am 95% sure it will. Try it should be fine. All the programming is in the power module anyway.

one is generic PG drives Pilot Plus. The other is from a Pride Quantum chair.

I mixed up the words - sorry. Of course, I meant the gimbal shaft.
