Does anyone know where to find a straight joystick handle like the one in the link but not flexible? to fit on a 3/16" shaft and around 6" long

With a plastic, cylindrical and hollow tube you can make one.

It really should have some flex in it if it isnt to hurt the joystick or mess up the centering. 6 inches gives a lot of leverage.

If you work in MM ID and OD instead of fractions of inches then you could easily buy a stainless tube, or other suitable metal the right size ON EbAY OR SIMILAR.. And fix with loctite. You might do it with fractional inch sizes but that stuff is beyond me!

Found. Its available here.
Likely find small amounts on eBay. Its almost 5mm. But not quite. Since PG is made in the UK, and dynamic in new zealand its likely metric. What are you measuring with? Ideally you need a micrometer.

4MM IS EASY TO FIND. It might be usable, just fit with a little epoxy to fill the tiny .25mm gap. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/155058904057

Thanks,
Your right I broke my handle off out in town yesterday an was stuck. I really need one of the heavy duty joysticks we were talking about on another thread. I'll look for something with some flex for now.

That will work. I just ordered a micrometer . I'll just have to be gentle with it not to damage the joystick internally. I'll also try out some flexible material.

I use INVACARE .
3/16" will be very hard to install and may break the joystick pod.
I use 4.8mm drill bit and still need to force it in.

We make extension rods for our members, at give away price, @ $1.
