D-sub alternative

I never got on with the D-Sub connector so I looked for alternatives, what I am now using is a Anderson SB50 connector for power, designed a simple mounting for the connectors and 3D printed it, converted my PL8 use Anderson SB50 connector and for balance wires I used
Amphenol Limited, 97B 10 Way Cable Mount MIL Spec Circular Connector Plug, Pin Contacts,Shell Size 18, Bayonet
Stock no.:442-2202
Amphenol, 97B 10 Way Wall Mount MIL Spec Circular Connector Receptacle, Socket Contacts,Shell Size 18, Bayonet
Stock no.:442-2634
Amphenol Industrial Cable Clamp
Stock no.:475-959
It's much easier to remove the power cable from the Anderson using the handle, the Amphenol connectors have a locating lug so you line it up and then turn the outer shell and it pulls the connector in and then locks it in place, soldering is a lot easier as there is more room on the back of the connector. you can buy a rubber boot to cover the Anderson to stop dirt getting and I 3D printed a small cover for the Amphenol connector. My IR values have decreased since I used this set up.
I still have a bit of tidying up to do on the wiring a nice bit of braid will finish it off, apologies for the state of the chair. 3D printed files attached too.
