Hi all,
Been searching the forums for hours using ChatGPT and my slow brain trying to work some stuff out. Came to the conclusion asked the question you guys know a lot more than me trying to work it out.
I have a Tom Kilmore and I love it. 30 years plus in a chair I always wanted one I could mess around with! And a local garage could fix.
In May I'm taking part in a rally, cannot give much details because it's not public yet although I'm sure the media don't read here. I need to be able to do between 30 – 40 miles over a period of 12 hours.
I currently have BMS system with 8 x 3.6v 100 AH cells so 26 V. I have electrocraft MPP 36 motors with 022 gear ratio, I do have a pair of motors that need repairing of 018 which are faster which I'm hoping to get them repaired for the rally.
My question is: should these batteries be enough or what would your advice be in replacing upgrading etc?
PS in September I'm going on a 500 mile trip averaging 25 – 30 miles per day the rally is basically the launch of the bigger challenge.
Any advice is welcome, please bear in mind I'm a politician so I'm as dumb as a rock.
