Dynamic has TWO different program interface variants.

One is simple and just requires a RS232 - USB and 3 wires.... the other requires a homebrew electronic interface.

Which one you want depends on the Dynamic model are you wanting to program.

So ...what model of Dynamic are you wishing to program?

You can leave the diode out if you want .... I put one in as a polarity safety measure.

Hello everybody. i have now soldered the board together.
but do not get a connection to the control unit.
In the wizard I see in the status line at the bottom on the right side how
the software queries different ports but no connection is made.
now I have a few more questions ...
1: When I measure the data pin and minus with the oscilloscope,
I get the signals from the control unit which can be seen in the photos. But no signals
From the pc.
2: what should the signals from the laptop look like after the circuit board?
I have the feeling that nothing arrives from the laptop via the circuit board.
I've already swapped tx and rx to see if it works. it doesn't work
3: I measure directly at the rs232 connector pin 3 and minus I see a signal every time the port swapped
i have checked the circuit board several times. everything should be right
4: is it important which usb. rs232 cable i use? actually I should have the right cable because I measure at pin 3 and minus a clean signal which changes as soon as the port is changed by the software.

..Are you trying to use a RS232-USB Cable with a DB9 plug like this? .... If so ,why?.

Wouldn't that RS232 cable just replace your Red RS232 to USB board you are using woody ?

I will attempt to make it clearer... One uses TTL Signal Logic the other uses RS232 signal logic .

TTL serial & RS232 serial are NOT the same or compatible , their high and low signals are the opposite of each other.

THIS Adapter uses TTL serial logic signals .

This method of serial communication is sometimes referred to as TTL serial (transistor-transistor logic). Serial communication at a TTL level will always remain between the limits of 0V and Vcc, which is often 5V or 3.3V. A logic high ('1') is represented by Vcc, while a logic low ('0') is 0V.

RS-232 (Recommended Standard 232) telecommunications standard. The board in the pic IS NOT RS232 it is TTL.

It uses a FT232RL Mini USB to TTL Serial Converter Adapter Module 3.3V 5.5V .

The above boards are the only interface to use. I know as I tried an expensive one I already had and no luck ordered one of the cheap ones and it works every time.

Ive tried to figure what cable i need to be able to Program the an DR90-a01..

Its for my grand mother she has an used eloped, swapped batteries recently but it still moves a bit slow and she needs to travel a bit, my wish is that it might be possible to get it a little bit faster.. Ive noticed that the engine stop pulling after it has reached the speed 14 km/h. Its just a 400w engine so perhaps it at 100.

Looking at the contactor pins on the controller there is a resistor that i guess is used with the gas handle to limit it. But that cant be all so there must be a software limitation, why limit at exact speed. Downhill it even brakes.

But i dont get if i can just use an rs232 or if i need to do alot of soldering.

Is dr90-a01 a rhino2 controller. Just want get pointed in the correct direction

Was there an modified software aswell?

The top speed for the Eloped is quoted as "Top speed 15 km / h " ......So ...it is , most likely already at 100%.

As Daf I need to setup a dr90-a01 controler.
I already got the software, the OEM dongle, the DWIZ adapter + XL3/Molex 4pins adapter and the USB/RS 232 adapter.
So if I'am right I just miss the RS232 to Hirose plug cable
In order to built it can you confirm this and by the way confirm that :
RS 232 pin 2 goes to pin 2 of Hirose plug
RS 232 pin 3 goes to pin 3 of Hirose plug
RS 232 pin 5 goes to pin 4 of Hirose plug

NO

The convention is TX ( Transmit ) talks to RX ( Receive ).

RS 232 pin 2 "listens" to pin 1 of Hirose plug
RS 232 pin 3 " talks" to pin 2 of Hirose plug
RS 232 pin 5 GND goes to pin 4 GND of Hirose plug

JUST USE YOUR RS232 to Hirose plug cable!!!

So ... Connect the RS232 to Hirose plug cable into the RS232 -USB adapter cable...plug this into the DWIZ-ADAPT and finally plug in the MOLEX adapter cable.

Does this make sense?

As I have mention I miss the RS232/Hirose cable
I already test this pinout configuration but with no success.
So far I will try a new USB/RS232 adapter.

Hello...
I have now soldered the circuit board 3 times and checked it x times. but I can't get a connection to the control unit.
When I stand behind the scooter and look at the control unit from above, I use pin 1 GND at the top right and pin 4 DATA at the bottom left ... when I measure between data and GND, I have about 3.7V

Your Google Drive links give an ACCESS DENIED.

The USB - TTL Convertor that you linked to is the correct type... other types simply do not work.

NO SETTINGS NEED ALTERING.

I am unsure about your pin number positions as your description requires me to know which way around your controller is when you are looking at it..
