How can I get the programming software and the profile for a D51272 70 Amp S-Drive. It's for a Drive HW007 scooter. czy

The software will have a generic profile.

Thanks for the assistance Woody. One other query, does the S-Drive need a 24 volt supply when programming, or is the 5v computer supply sufficient for the rewritable RAM? :dance

I have found that an S-drive programs happily at 12v.

Yes but I think he means powered by logic circuitry or powered by main battery supply?

Battery power to the s-drives battery connections. 24v to the logic circuit might be a chip shop moment, totally fried.

Ah! ...A battery voltage must be supplied to the controller and the controller must be turned ON ....I have found that 12v is sufficient for this purpose.

The actual programming voltage level is TTL .... Transistor–transistor logic.

“Acceptable” input signal voltages range from 0 volts to 0.8 volts for a “low” logic state, and 2 volts to 5 volts for a “high” logic state.

Regarding my friend Tim’s Afikim Breeze S4. It is running fine now with the exception that the batteries are pretty much shot. They won’t take a good charge no matter what charger I put them on. The charger that was supplied by the scooter supplier only appears to supply only 25.6 volts. In any case I returned the scooter to Tim and told him to buy a “ blue smart charger” Victron 24v 8amp and new batteries.
Thanks for the good info on your other forum about batteries and charger voltages.

Thank you to Woody, cable works, program works, S-Drive loaded with correct program and performs perfectly.
One note, you need to put the FTDI Drivers in manually. and then you can find which COM Port you're useing.

That is a SOLO and needs the INDUSTRIAL software.

Hello All,
Have anyone have tried if work with VR2 system?
VR2 controllers share Magic Mobility software with S-DRIVE , so if the software is same I suppose it should work also the hardware .

The software is the same...the cable is the same... only the plugs are different.

Works with Pilot+, Vr2 , Vsi , S-Drive and Egis.

hi everyone
I have a AFIKIM BREEZ with a SOLO D50960/1, and a AFIKIM S4 with a S-DRIVE controller.
I need the software in order to program them, and as written before, I guess I need the "INDUSTRIAL software"...?
will it be good for both?
where can I get it?
thanks

Hi again
First, WOODYGD thanks for the super fast help with the software!!!

I've made the cables to fit SOLO and S-DRIVE connectors, as described.
I've used 1n4001 diode and a 47k resistor, connect to a usb ttl232r, witch set-up to work with curtis 1314 programmer. (and working..)

Unfortunately the software don't recognized both PG controllers. it do recognized the usb ttl232r connected.
The controllers connect to power and switch on...

I don't see what I'm missing...
Thanks in advance

I assume this means that you have inverted the RX and TX by means of the FTPROG Utility?

If so, you should put them back to normal for the PGDT Software.

Hi
Yes, the rx tx was inverted, and I've change in to normal again but it doesn't help.

Ah! ...Just spotted that you have it designated as a 1309 ...so you have also changed the VID and PID ..thus you are also using the drivers specifically installed in Windows for the Curtis 1309.

So ..Change the VID and PID back to normal. VID = 0403 & PID = 6001

There is no doubt u know what u r talking.... :clap
I've changed the the file with FDPROG and it's working!
I guess I'll buy another ttl232r cable for the other software.

thank you very much !

Woody, I just have to give you my eternal gratitude for helping people out, you really are a legend.
I've made a kart with my son out of a TGA Breeze S4 Mobility scooter, it is great, but speed is restricted to 6mph.
Please could you send me a link to the Industrial Software I need to modify the parameters.
I already made the lead, thankyou buddy.
