For those of us who have 230 volts, what options are there?

Most of us have 230 or 240V It means the only ones really that dont are the USA. It means that your ZXD will operate normally and will give 3000 watts max or 50A output maximum at up to 60V.

As far as what ELSE is available at that quality, or power output then theres nothing. Its why I have 2.

I have some cheap power supplies and they wobble around at approximately the voltage I set them at, dropping some 10ths as soon as there is a load (a matter of quality) and only going up to 30V at 30A, some less (a matter of...ahem... price). As for programmability, mine have none and I await the arrival of the ZXD.

That would be quite handy except that clicking the English flag I get the Chinese version, and there's no flag for my other language - Italian.

Lenny, I believe the language selection only applies to that webpage. Although it would be nice if that PDF was available in other langs.

I have bought another ZXD2400.
This time with an aluminum box.

Are the positive and negative poles in the second image threaded?

Yes they are Martin, just unscrew the grey covers. But those connectors are only safe up to 20A maximum. Use the Anderson connector at the rear for high Amp charging.

Are the gray covers screws?
Do you only change from clear covers to gray covers?

Nope, you undo them with your index finger and thumb, like a thumbscrew. Don't think you can get clear covers for those.

They take 4MM banana plugs I think? 20 Amps 24V with good quality banana plugs, no problem.

Those connectors are OK for a quick test of electronics and stuff on the bench. Or if you are charging via a wheelchairs XLR connectors (although be VERY vareful you do not have one end in the chair and the other end loose where they can short and damage your chair/controller).

So for low current use, bench use etc only. They melt if you try more than say 15A to 20A anyway. Best to use the rear Anderson for a charge lead, or to run a PL8 or other hobby charger. Or even that XT60 on the front panel. Those are both intrinsically safe connectors. No way to easily short out your chair. Or connect in reverse.

In the current ZXD2400 I use XLR (9A).
I have the cable connected directly to the screw and the cover screwed on.

I guess with the new ZXD2400 I can do the same...
