Power supply is here.
Will be swapping case, fitting on off switch, anderson connector, etc. Tested, working. Bit complicated with one push/turn button and many features. Anyone got instructions?

Shirley supplied them.
Its cheap, 0 to 60V and 0 to 50A, 3000 watt max in the uk on 240VAC. So More amps than you can shake a stick at!

Also allows you to set a CC/CV charge setting too, with a termination you choose so can auto charge a battery if you want with no charger needed. But I do that already with my bench supplies...

This one is small and quiet, so will run a PL8 next to my bed. USB'd to my laptop...

If reliable, these are the perfect variable adjustable power supply at a great price. And they look a bit miserable, but a fancy alloy case is available, and bought, and about to be fitted. So it will look great too. I suggest you be nice to shirley!

However. Forget the power supply. The most interesting thing seems to be the chinese/hong kong newspaper everything is wrapped in!

Did you get stung by customs? Seems never to happen from HK for some reason. Or china main. But every time when ordering from the US!

If the carrier is China post or Singapore post, I am always free of tax and customs fee. But if it is an American carrier like FedEx/DHL, I am always charged no matter where I bought from. They just call me and tell me the money I have to pay for customs clearance. In fact, I have no choice. I am forced to pay the vague money that probably they imagine. If I do not accept, they simply return the goods and I wont receive the goods I payed. While the delivery services in China and VN are getting better, the services from USA are terrible. When talking through phone, they (their staff in VN) behave like they are the boss.

Those 3KW output, 0-60V, 0-50A power supplies are amazing for the size and cost. Theres nothing else available like it.

Not sure how well they would work on 110V though. As 3kw output means 3.3kw in or more. And thats 27 AC amps or more. Call it 30A?

60v, 25A max output with 110v AC input. But I knew that when I bought it.

You will likely find that it does more amps as you lower the output voltage as it then keeps watts the same.

So 30V will be up to 50A?

So it will still work as a rapid charger and full power pl8 supply. Did you fit the case? And an anderson? Because that will be needed!

That would make sense. I have yet to get mine together.
