Q700 R All basically the same thing. Its had a marketing update.
This one is available with:
Centre power footrest! Whooho...
2 or 4 pole...
4, 5, 6.5, and 8mph.
VR2 various outputs, and Rnet 90 or 120A power modules, many joysticks and options,
Seat lift, recline, tilt, etc,
GRP24 option,
Various wheel sizes and types, and its not that expensive. At least after a little discount.

It of course has the usual programming, and nose heavy problems. And badly positioned joystick, and all the other details. Nothing that a gas axe and a hammer wont sort... The main change? Front suspension.

Price depends on options, download the order form, tick the stuff you need, add it up, then deduct about 20 percent for online supply only discount.
Thats what you will likely end up paying...

It's not showing me a link to the order form like it does on other pages, just Brochure and Owners Manual. Same with the F version too.

It's the old Handicare Puma with a few tweaks by the look of it.

Front suspension seems to have rubber pad only .

So did the mini car and a few others. Frequently used on trailers, even on some HGV stuff. Works well. Rubber is a natural spring that has natural in built damping, that is both rising rate and very light. So IF implemented well, will work fine. If not, its a fashion accessory.

No, definitely not puma.

"No, definitely not puma"
So you say. I do own a Puma and can see the visual differences are minimal. The Sedeo seating options are nearly identical in many respects too. Even the swing-away is the Handicare one. Easy to see why Sunrise acquired Handicare.

There only seems to be the manual and brochure, no order form as yet (as far as I can see). Also the price seems to jump between the £6k (posted by elryko) and over £12k depending on the website you go to, so I don't think there's been an official list price as yet.

Order form. Right there on the page. Its an interactive PDF. But you will need a calculator. The price can be cheap or huge depending on options you want. And on any discount you can organise. Which on my last two chairs was considerable. And no vat obviously.
EDIT: Just looked. Link is gone. It was a common form for the front/rear/mid drive versions. They are still messing about with the website by the look of things.
the mid drive one is slightly dearer
https://www.sunrisemedical.co.uk/powere ... irs/q700-morder form for that is at bottom of page in the same place the rear drive one WAS!

Found.
Once you omit the gyro as its uneeded on rear drive or mid, it drops 300 off the price so 6450 plus your options, less about 20% discount...
http://www.sunrisedice.com/asset-bank/a ... /47340.pdfAdding lift, tilt, recline, centre power footrest, 120A r-net gets the price a bit higher, but after you do the online discount thing about 7.5k fully loaded...

(for my previous post, that was base prices being listed)
I do like how much is included. It seems the 120A RNet power module is included (0 cost), just the controller is different prices. Do you know what the difference between the heavy duty one (£900) compared with the Remote Joystick, R-Net, High Resolution Colour LCD, Advanced, Infrared And Bluetooth Control Included (£350) would be?

I dont think that is a finished list. Thats why it was pulled. Most of those options are not needed. Many refer to rear attendant or additional control, or specialist controls. And some options need to be seen in real life to decide. Eg cushion, I use my own. And same with backs. So they can be removed. It will re-apear when fully sorted on the rear drive page...
Yes, but its a complex question head to pg drives!

High Resolution Colour LCD
Yes its the same controller I have on my salsa, with the addition of bluetooth that I dont need at great cost...

radically different, frame is now bespoke for fwd/rwd configurations. puma 40 was one of my favourite chairs but the q700 is a big step up. seating (sedeo pro not the ergo) looks similar but underneath the cushion is very different.
its a very nice driving chair in fwd with pneumatic tyres

sedeo ergo has biometric seating and some nice options such as lie flat, has seating memory functions too. for most the sedeo pro will be ample.

Looks like they don't offer the Q7-R in the US - at least per the Sunrise USA site, all they offer are the ancient 6x6 or P220 series...
They do have the Q7 in mid-wheel

(We need to have a BARF smilie...)

Theres a lot of rear drive options that the EU get to choose from, that seem to never be seen in the US. Even the older quickie chairs for eg, F55, F45, salsa, groove, jive, and the lightweight 500 R newer 700 R never made it to the US. Or the rear drive handicare ranges / YOU-Q or Puma chairs etc.
https://www.sunrisemedical.co.uk/powere ... heelchairs Or any of the rear drive modern chairs from invacare like the XTR or the STORM 4 range. Not sure about the likes of the etac or other expensive brands.
Must be because the mid drives took over in your country. Althought there are mid and front drive versions of those chairs above here too. But arguably less popular compared to the US.

I mostly agree... The recent ability expo, all I saw was front and mid-wheel drives on the floor...
I can sort of forgive them not offering the F-55, as the 6x6 series were basically the same chair - different motors, and a slightly different center on the aluminum instead of steel frame, but as best I could tell, the same general design...
Otherwise I agree, the UK / EU RWD offerings are much better than what is in the US... Which is why I tell everyone that if I were ever in the market for a NEW chair, my first steps would be to renew my passport and start checking fares on Air Iceland... (Best way to cross the ocean if you intermittent cath, as they stop half way so you can use a real

)
