Meyra Optimus 2 15km/h direkt/drive

Postby Maxtor » 18 Jul 2020, 18:34

Hello, my name is Markus from Germany,

I have had a Meyra Optimus 2 with 15km / h speed for a few days.
I have a problem driving straight ahead, the joystick is so fine that it is difficult for me to drive straight ahead.
I have attached a picture of my values, can you please give me tips that it will be a little better.
I still have a programming device there.

Many thanks

B.M. will be along to advise on the settings .

I see that you have the tremor set at 50%...do you have poor hand control?

That chair isnt a normal chair with tank steer. Its a scooter with rear wheel steering. As such I dont know what the best settings are likely to be. But start with woodys settings above. And reduce turn speed. Till it doesent feel sensitive. But anything that steers from the rear like a fork lift truck will never be stable.

The settings have made him a little calmer.
I still have to get used to it a little.

Can someone tell me how I get into on board programming?
Controls / Global / OBP Keycode ENTRY is set to Yes

I have the same chair.
It took me about 3 hours of going around to get used to it.

Mine is at factory default.

I never changed a thing.
I have got a R-Net programmer, but never found a use for it.

I've had the same problem, but I managed to change the servo settings responsible for the steering control.

If anyone is looking for help with optimus 2 settings then I will help. I have the R-net Meyra oem program.

Now that's interesting - I don't get a section for servo on my program at all
Is there a way of getting that to show or are you using Meyra version of the r-net software?
if you are could you share it with us please?

That's what I'm using so why don't I see this section at all? Is there some way sections can be hidden?
This holds the secret to why I get slowed down as soon as I start a turn - I've never been able to sort that and also why it takes so long for the steering to recover

Never had that happen.

But. If I turn a sharp right, I move the joystick to the right and down a bit.
On normal road turns, no slowing down at all.

You may need to grab the original file via the Meyra DEALER software. Then edit it with the OEM one.

No I don't!

I'm using 6.4 of the OEM software with a OEM dongle.

Well thank you Łukasz for the file - I now get a servo section but only in a limited format.
On starting R-net I get the following warning - BM is there a way of updating data files from the version I already have?

It all depends if those Servo settings are in the PM already, if not then the programming software can't see what isn't there. But you can add them from another OEM file that has them.

I have just read from my chair using a OEM dongle and software.

No servo settings anywhere!

As I said above, those Servo settings have to exist in the PM so the software can read them. If no Servo settings exists then the software won't see them. Kajapa have those additional Servo settings in his PM, hence the Sunrise software displays them.

So the OEM software does not read everything then?
My OEM software\dongle does not see the servo when reading from the chair.

Great info. Thank you

You need the Meyra OEM version of the software to create the proper setup of your chair, as I assume you have the Generic PGDT one which lacks many programming parameters. Even if you create a chair setup from scratch with the Sunrise version, those Servo settings will not show up.
