I have the telescopic Mech ramp. I have asked questions on here before about it and have gotten great information.
I love this site. The underbelly of my van gets rain water in it when it is just sitting the driveway. Someone else responded and they had the same problem but did not tell me what was done to solve it or where the water is coming in. One other question i have is, sometimes my ramp comes back in before it comes out all the way. Someone on this site responded that the rails are dirty. I tried taking the section of flooring out above the ramp and motor. I took all the large allen head screws out and also the small ones, and could not pull up the floor. It looks like it needs to be on a lift or jacked way up to access other screws on the bottom. Hopefully someone knows whats up. Please help me with some feedback or a trusted experienced person or shop that has dealt with both these problems. Thanks Todd.

If your ramp goes part way out then goes back in you likely have a bad motor. There is some kind of sensor in it that will reverse the motor if the ramp hits an obstacle (like your shin) when it comes out. Mine did this very thing after 1 year and was replaced under warranty. I have no idea though if it could be repaired without replacing it. Be careful though, my dealer told me when they start doing this they are close to crapping out altogether. So have your hand crank close!

Edit to add: On mine the plastic trim on the driver side rear needs to be moved to lift the floor. Also, IIRC, there is one of the larger screws that has a nut on it and can be accessed from the drivers side sliding door when its open. Just reach under the flloor when open.
