Need Permolock C3 button / wiring diagram

Postby xtal_01 » 25 Feb 2024, 05:47

My wife has a van with a Permolock C3 ... discontinued years ago.

Does anyone have a wiring diagram and/or parts supplier for a Permolock C3 (Permobil floor lock).

Then you press the button it no longer opens the lock (should release in 3 - 5 seconds). If you hold it for 10 seconds, it opens on "reset" (you do this if the chair does not lock in correctly and gets stuck in the mount) ... so I know the motor works ... and the green light comes on with you lock in so I know the limit switches are working ... just won't release when you press the button (just fyi, the green light goes off after a few seconds when the van is shut off ... it use to say on till you released)

The push button part number is: Art. no. 1824735

I am sure the "standard" button will also work New - 311364 Old - 311364-00-0

I am hoping to either find a button or to find a wiring diagram so I can try repairing the one I have.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks

Maybe not what you were looking for.
If you ever plan to change out the Permolock system for something else, I'll probably buy it from you.

You said " (just fyi, the green light goes off after a few seconds when the van is shut off ... it use to say on till you released)" I don't know much about these, but that seems to indicate that some battery or capacitor has failed or is failing, or that a switched power circuit is intact but a constant battery circuit is broken.
