MPV with side entry. (Not drive-from-wheelchair.)

Hi
Strangely my health started picking up in July and I started walking around indoors much more. Something similar happened May last year, then I conked out. (After half-painting the lounge. ) But this time it is lasting longer and I'm managing to do some walking on a treadmill to build up some leg strength. It's going well. :)

So I'm wondering if I will be able to drive again after all. Trouble is, we have a minibus and it's difficult to get backup drivers in case I conk out in the middle of nowhere. Also, Penny is 17 in January and will be having driving lessons but won't be old enough to drive the minibus until she's 21. So we need something smaller that can be driven on a normal license by anyone with my permission.

Spec:
Side entry for Emma's chair with option to transfer on to a row of seats and put her feet up for a change of position. (No other wheelchairs except emergency manual in 'boot' for me.)
At least 2 other passenger seats.
Less than 2.1m tall so I can get into car parks for the first time in years! (MPV, not minibus.)
£ is an big issue. Would prefer something with high mileage that's 'just' say 4 or 5 years old rather than something already rusting but with low mileage.

All I can find is a Mercedes Vito like this:

(That's too old.)

Any other ideas. :)

Send her her I can train her! :P Driving I mean...

Seriously why does she need to be 21? Thats only with so many seats? I think its ok for personal use, take some out?

The wagon we have now was built as a minibus. It is still classed as a minibus despite only having 6 passenger seats because it weighs 3.5T. :( (Google Street view RH11 7NJ [not Google Earth, that's our old one], make me an offer. lol)

Sick of minibuses anyway. I want some normality after 13 years. And the last insurance was >£600 with 70% no claims.
As for you giving her driving lessons. Er, it would be good is she reached 18!

Here is what Motability wish me to have - naturally I said yes - I'm just waiting for the letter!

This is the demo they bought along to see if I could drive & use.

Best,

Martin
